April 21, 201313 yr Commercial Member Folks from the Majestic Flight Deck....We are slowly but surely getting the majority of the activation issues under control. the onset of the problem started due to our activation server (Majestic software) being unable to handle the excessively high demand during the early stages after launching the Q400. The majority of these issues have since been dealt with, however, there are still a few customers who purchased the Dash from Just Flight, FlightSim Pilot Shop and or Simmarket who are still experiencing some issues when attempting to activate their Dash Q400.If you have purchased the Q400 from Simmarket you will have access to both an online and an offline installer. Please utilize the online installer first, and only if you experience issues with the installer, then utilize the offline installer. For those of you who have already forwarded an email to our "[email protected]" we are steadily working to get you up and running. For the Just Flight customers who have not sent an email requiring assistance (if you do need assistance), please begin by sending an email to Just Flight - [email protected], I must tip my hat to them as they have been working immensely to help in keeping/getting the activation issue under control as well. Just Flight ALL of the orders processed, either automatically as they happened or manually between our Orders team and Majestic, and have replied to every customer who has emailed us with an activation issue during Saturday and Sunday.Regarding our website, well I know most are wondering what's going on. We plan on having the website up and running by tomorrow evening. So for all support issues also related to the aircraft, please use the support@majesticsoftware email until the website is back online.Again we'd like to thank you all for your support, patience and most of all understanding.RespectfullyThe Majestic Software Team-Simeon KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. April 22, 201313 yr A number of the manuals are already in PDF form, just navigate to your FSX SimObjects - Airppanes folder, then MJC8Q400... they are in the doc folder... A Andrew Entwistle
April 22, 201313 yr Thank you for the update. Is there any news yet on the sound bug which many people seem to experience. The one that makes the sound stop after 15 minutes and eventually results in a crash. It makes the product pretty unusable for me unfortunately. It might be good to know that Majestic is looking into this instead of every person filing a support ticket seperately.
April 22, 201313 yr Further info on that sound bug: I have looked in Event Viewer subsequent to FSX hanging, and there is no crash reported, just an app hang. And yes, it always cuts out 10-15 minutes in (haven't timed it precisely), doesn't seem to be related to any particular set of actions. I tried re-aligning the gyroscopes and making sure cabin pressure was okay for altitude, but neither proved to be a factor.

April 22, 201313 yr Did the same thing; still have the problem. No getting around this, I think; it's a bug. Wish the testers had caught it.
April 22, 201313 yr For me, the sound bug (sound going off after approximately 15 mniutes) happens only when I load a flight plan and use FSX ATC. Those getting the bug; try doing a full flight (take-off, landing) without loading (or creating) a FS Flight Plan, and without using FSX ATC, and see if the sound still goes off. If I use a FP or FSX ATC the sound goes off 100% of the time : if I don't use the FP or FSX ATC, the sound problem never occurs.
April 22, 201313 yr I've tried just about everything already. Also reinstalling as administrator makes no difference. If I start the flight and pause the game immediately without doing anything and unpause occasionally to check if it still works, after 15 minutes the sound bug occurs, always. If I continue flying after the sound bug occured eventually the game CTDs. I'm going to log this as a support issue, so I can hopefully enjoy my purchase soon like many other lucky users already do.

As soon as I load a FSX flight plan and talk to the FSX ATC the sound is gone after approx. 10 minutes. I also hope they will fix it as I do not like to fly without ATC. April 22, 201313 yr Interesting, seems like it doesn't like anything else using the sound channel. Hmmm, I use VoxATC often, I will have to give that a try tonight and see if it interferes with the aircraft sound. I had experienced the sound loss once, and then the computer was powered off and rebooted (I got some sleep) and I had not seen it again, I thought it was just a matter of needing the reboot. Will see this evening when I do some more flying. I'm in love with this plane, but the one thing that is REALLY annoying to me is the time after you hit 'Fly it Now' until you get video control in the cockpit, there is this LOUD jangly alarming that is so annoying I usually turn my sound off at first, it would be nice if there was a way this could be avoided maybe... please Jack F.
