You know you're a Sim-Addict when....

Anybody here admit being 'dry' for more than 24 hours recently by personal choice?

OK.  You know you're a Sim-Addict when....

...you pass up the beer in your fridge for a Dr Pepper because you're simming later in the day.

... And the dryer noise stops suddenly so you tell her pan pan pan and reach for the QRH..

Thus actually crossed my mind on my last flight into Egll. For a moment I was genuinely waiting for the view outside to start stuttering as we turned onto final.

While I was flying a crosscountry over a beautiful landscape the first thought in my head was " I really need to download some good scenery to make my FSX look this good "

And it's so cool in 2013 that this is mostly possible :)

When you take your 3 year old daughter to see planes taking off at RW27R EGLL and call out 'V1, Rotate' just before they do.

You read the above and knew exactly where we were :)

You read all letters as...Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta...

...and you are so accustomed to this phonetic system that you forget to switch to the "law enforcement phonetic system" when talking to the police/fire dispatcher!

Alpha - Adam

Bravo - Baker

Charlie - Charles

etc.

You're driving to work and it strikes you how good the frame rates are.

Seriously.

You take a day off work because you are behind on your VA hours

You see a beautiful day outside and think: "What a great sunshine for launching a sim flight in my area" (since you always play with real weather).

I'm the exact opposite... I love flying bad weather ifr so if clouds come I'm racing home to get airborne :)
