April 24, 201313 yr I'd like to see Microsoft take ownership of ORBX, REX, and PMDG and integrate their products into FS11. ^_^ Jehan Kateli

April 24, 201313 yr I'd like to see Microsoft take ownership of ORBX, REX, and PMDG and integrate their products into FS11. ^_^ That would turn those high-level developments into some mere Microsoft quality items: I don't want any addons that need to be scheduled for a monthly "patch day", no way!!! Would help for Captain Sim, though ... B) What happened to AVSIM
April 24, 201313 yr Commercial Member I'd like to see Microsoft take ownership of ORBX, REX, and PMDG and integrate their products into FS11. ^_^ They did try to do something similar with MS Flight until they ditched all the 3PD's they were talking with. Andrew Wilson
April 24, 201313 yr CS merging with Poundstretcher would be a step in the right direction..... One dev less to worry about?!? Oh, my bad! wikipedia was my friend, now I got it ... What happened to AVSIM

April 25, 201313 yr I'd like to see Microsoft take ownership of ORBX, REX, and PMDG and integrate their products into FS11. ^_^ I'd rather see the old Aces devs merge back with Microsoft and just make FS11 first :LMAO: AMD Ryzen 9950X3D | Asrock X870E Taichi | Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 w/EK waterblock | Full Custom Loop Cooling | Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5-6000 | Samsung & WD NVME/SSDs | Phanteks Enthoo 719 | Seasonic Vertex Gold 1200W | Keychron Q5 Max | Corsiar Scimitar Elite SE Wireless | Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo | Logitech Pro Flight Pedals | VKB Gladiator Pro NXT L&R handed | MiniCockpit MiniFCU | Alienware AW34DWF | Asus PG279Q | Win 11 Pro
April 26, 201313 yr I think we will lose some competition on the market. My personal opinion for most of the dev's out here is - this is not their job, neither hobby. This is actually their entire (well, almost entire) life. That is why their products are usually top notch and every release raise the bar - name it Milviz, A2A, PMDG or Majestic (in no particular order). They put so much in their every product, that we are more close to our real fellow pilots every few months. I wouldn't want the developers to merge - everyone would develop the most popular birds to earn a share. All the virtual skies will be full of Raptors, Jumbos and Airbuses... Nowadays we do have a very wide variety of planes - the smaller ones and the bigger ones. Why? Because there are big amount of professionals, very serious about their development. Microsoft attempts to make something similar to 'merge' - centralized market, one developer (MS) - it doesn't end up well, because this is not a big market after all... Keep the dev's happy by purchasing most (or even better - all) valuable add-ons and we will have a lot of work for quite a few days. Bartłomiej Ender
April 26, 201313 yr How about engine makers, airframe makers, systems integration types etc, specialising in their fields? Heck, we could get really carried away and have us, the users, pick our engines when we order the plane! Of course, we'd need some regulatory body to make sure the planes meet minimum standards... Just musing. I'm just happy that we have the options we do. Mike Dryden
April 26, 201313 yr more complex then the NGX, and it includes a weather radar it may be a weather radar but not a accurate one at that I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
April 26, 201313 yr You may not have the choice of engine manufacturers (except for engine variants included in the aircraft release), but often you'll find alternate soundsets, for example. Systems can be enhanced by single addon gauges, too. Yes, I'm glad not to witness too many mergers yet. What happened to AVSIM
