May 10, 201313 yr This Airbus is a high quality (high fidelity), aircraft. It has nothing (I mean nothing), that might need to ask from the PMDG 737. Johnny!! you are at it again!! 1.10 seems like a great plane. but lets not put it in PMDG 737 range. That's just not fair to Aerosoft or the developers. The 737 has service based failures as well as a well modeled failure simulation. The AXE simulates daily piloting duties only. Not bashing Aerosoft at all, these planes were built with different audiences in mind. Johnny just doesn't quite get that. Nick Running

May 10, 201313 yr State the upsides and the downsides of any release - because of the stated downsides they'll call you a 'basher', no matter what you said about the upsides ... Balanced views help the community more than blind support - but the viewers' rewards are the names they get called ... BTW, any news concerning the AAX A318?!? What happened to AVSIM

May 10, 201313 yr Sorry Oliver but why don’t you just spit it out the person your talking is me!Now Oliver read this from page 4 again. Did they add wings, so you can see them from the VC, or is she still wingless from the VC?No bashing, no nothing, a simple Q as I hoped they might have added it in like they did on the Q400.Your reply was patronising and you added a rolleyes at the end to say how silly you thought I was for even asking. Sorry, only the lift of the wings is simulated in VC view ... :rolleyes:The following reply from me talk about the Q400, not the bus until I started a new paragraph and even started it with the word Aerosoft. No bashing the A320 at all again. The Anti Ice I was talking about was the Q400. Shame as when you have ITracker I find it useful and nice to look back out the VC window. The Q400 added wings and props from the VC in there first patch. it's very helpful to see if ice is forming and to then turn on Anti Ice, just like a pilot would do IRL.Aerosoft could have made it an options as people without Itracker flying with there eye point fixed in a vice like grip might find it pointless. But just adding a bit of wing like you would see in a real A320 is a no go for them.Glad to read with 1.1 it is finally working for all the fans.So this reply was total wrong. The preceding posts were about a simmer who wants to look at the edge of the wings from his VC in order to detect ice that doesn't accumulate there at all - neither visually nor in aircraft weight nor in aerodynamics. Now, from a film with jack nicholson………..here….comes…….johnny..Only johnny could get your quote Oliver so wrong but then again,…I have to pay my homage to the man here. Not only does he talk about Aerosoft like this “This Airbus is a high quality (high fidelity), aircraft. It has nothing (I mean nothing), that might need to ask from the PMDG 737. Come on kids...Aerosoft is a POWER HOUSE in the Flight Simulation.” But then in true johhny style, contradicts himself in his very next paragraph. “want to compare an Airbus with PMDG 737 (first dumb mistake)! “Johnny you’re a legend, a true legend. Thanks for making me smile so much with every post you make.In your words...come on kids....... David Murden. May 10, 201313 yr I'm sorry for this misinterpretation of the rolling eyes. Yes, they are rolling in my a.m. post, but the rolling was supposed to be ironic rather than patronizing - 'simulating not the wings but the lift' isn't exactly a "straight" answer, is it? I tried to anticipate that in my own post, by adding the supposed to be mischievous rolling eyes ... BTW, I'm not 100% sure that preceding posts concerning 'bashing' were related to you - could have been related to Dave just as easily, regarding the posts between Dave and Joshua?!? Now, finally, what do you expect to see, when looking at the wings from your VC? Just curious ... What happened to AVSIM
May 10, 201313 yr Some more fixes which are being worked on: http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/68042-known-issues-post-sp1/ Good CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11
May 10, 201313 yr I'm sorry for this misinterpretation of the rolling eyes. Ok Oliver, no problem. Now, finally, what do you expect to see, when looking at the wings from your VC? Just curious Well the same as I would see if I was sitting in the real seat of a A320. Sorry to bring the NGX up but the 900 you see a little of the wings, the 800 you see a lot more and a bit of the engine, 600 almost all the wing and all the engine. The Js41,Q400 and any other top quality addon aircraft for fsx you have wings. Now I do understand that if you do not have TrackIR it can be pointless because your view is a fixed pointed. It's like having your head strapped to the head rest. But countless simmers have TrackIR because it brings a VC to life and looking back out of the A320 and seeing only a light and no wings or anything is very disappointing. How would you feel if you bought a GA aircraft and looked round to see no wings? If the fps are "so Aerosoft A320" make it an option to turn on and off. As for the A320 wanting nothing from PMDG...well how about wings! Am not bashing the A320 all I asked was a simple Q. BTW since the Q400 has got it's wings and engines and Iceing modeled and seen from the VC, it has 0 impact on fps or if it does it still does not drop below my locked 30FPS. David Murden. May 10, 201313 yr Aerosoft made one of there main selling points the FPS and adding wings would cost fps!!!!!, well the Q400 makes that statement now look really silly. I think the Q400 sets new bench marks in fsx. One being fps. David Murden. May 10, 201313 yr So did PMDG with their ever-improving code from 747 via MD-11 to NGX (and counting ...), despite adding features like 'TERR ON ND', for example. Let's see how Aerosoft AAX version 3.0(!) will compare to them ... (I take it, the AAX is - code-optimizing-wise - still very much in early stages of its development cycle.) And yes: Sitting next to PMDG, we don't have just FSL, but, from now on, also Majestic ... What happened to AVSIM

May 10, 201313 yr The only thing I noticed was during cruise the engines would occasionally spool down for a second before spooling back up. I never experienced this before SP1.1. I had this happen also on my test flight. Could I ask what weather engine were you using?
