May 12, 201313 yr Commercial Member Is this about monitors or an airplane... LOL. Sorry for the off topic. Joshua C. WSSS
May 13, 201313 yr Is this about monitors or an airplane... It's neither/nor. It's about wings and frame rates, lol! What happened to AVSIM

May 13, 201313 yr Lemme re-phrase this: It's about wings which are not visible from the VC, but should be, according to a significant number of acknowledged fellow simmers, ... of course, NOT including myself, lol! What happened to AVSIM
May 13, 201313 yr This thread is amusing in many ways... Whatever is visible from the left and right seat of a commercial airliner in the real world "should" be visible in a high-end addon for FSX. Whether it actually gets included or not is up to the discretion of the developer alone. The developer should be clear on why an otherwise visible element is left out and the answer should be plausible, otherwise the developer and his/her aircraft is going to be shot down on every forum between avsim and flightsim... Developers know why they model certain aspects and not others, there are many reasons, cost, performance cost, return on investment and so on and so forth. Aerosoft made it clear from the start the things the Extended A320/1 was going to simulate and what was not included. At the end of the day, the customer has to decide for him/herself whether or not to buy... I still decide not to buy... I await other players' renditions of this holy grail of an aircraft... Until then, I am back off to my NGX and Q400... A Andrew Entwistle
May 13, 201313 yr Ok, in all fairness guys. Can you really see ice forming on the wing within FSX. Forgive if I'm too innocent , but I did not know this. Above, a poster indicated that he does not like the AXE cause he is not able to see the wings from VC, to monitor ice forming on the wings so he can turn on anti-ice.
May 13, 201313 yr No no no ..no The Q400 you can see ice form from the VC, the A320 you cannot see ice forming even if it did have wings. David Murden. May 14, 201313 yr No no no ..no The Q400 you can see ice form from the VC, the A320 you cannot see ice forming even if it did have wings. Ahhh, ok, the Q-400 comes with ice and the AXE is hot cause it does not have ice. Hummm, maybe Airbus should consider having a warning system on the display that will alert the pilot that there is ice on the wings. Daarn Airbus, their a/c are not advanced as I thought. Now, all pilots need to constantly be watching through the window to see if there's ice on the tyres (sorry, wings)
May 14, 201313 yr Today I had something weird happen to me. The top of descent calculation was way off, it wanted me to start my descent about 90 miles early. Very weird vatsim s3

Very weird Known (and fixed)Bug. Fix will be in next hotfix/next release. Check the aerosoft forums for more info. Joshua C. WSSS

May 15, 201313 yr A must-have for all serious AAX pilots at a price as "little" as 2.200 Euros (incl. VAT, of course!) ... Wait - it has no AAX support (yet)!!! http://secure.simmarket.com/vr-insight-throttle-a320-pro-(de_7519).phtml What happened to AVSIM

May 15, 201313 yr They already do. "ICE DETECTED" ECAM message. Discussed that with David already: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/407332-axe-v-11-out/?p=2665199 What happened to AVSIM
