May 9, 201313 yr Hey guys come one; this thread is getting unnecessarily tense and conflict-filled.Let's all take a chill pill (I can say that, right?), and just talk about the product; good and bad. 99% of everything we convey on here is our opinion, or viewpoint; adjusted for our priorities and preferences (and our values). Less than 1% is objective knowledge or info ........... there you go, how were those figures?! ( )@ - I agree with you about the wing (+engine) views from the VC.... Makes a huge difference to TrackIR users and would be great in the AXE. Was a fantastic addition to the MJC Q400.

Why not include an option in the right AAX MCDU: Everyone of us can choose whether to "burn" some more frame rates either on wing-views or on TERR ON ND or on an animated F/A (mimicing those RW Air India F/A's ... ). I propose to name this the 'value' option in the 'preferences' menu ... B) What happened to AVSIM
May 9, 201313 yr  Ok, this ones been overtaking by popcornists, so as Duncan Bannatyne would say .... "I'm out".
May 9, 201313 yr I really don't want to go down this road, but quite how telling a paying customer to "take a chill pill" is "valuable customer support", I'm not quite sure. And to state that "ALL" his posts are that, is just plain silly. Look at his last. Maybe you missed Joshua's last in that post: come down to the AS forum, and I will help you in any best way I can. Same goes for you and others. If you have problems don't shutter up and try to call out a developer on an external forum without first seeking help on your issues. Doesn't do much good to bottle up your rage just to let it out somewhere else. Why not try and fix the issue? Regards,Kyle
May 9, 201313 yr This plane is quite enjoyable now. It's not a super high fidelity plane like the NGX or the Q400, but it's a lot better than say Qualitywings or Captainsim products vatsim s3
May 10, 201313 yr I'm not sure Johnny(767?) will be amused by your 'comparison', lol! Maybe cause we think with our brains and not with our feet. Maybe because we admire what Aerosoft has done with this Airbus. Are you kidding me? This Airbus is a high quality (high fidelity), aircraft. It has nothing (I mean nothing), that might need to ask from the PMDG 737. Come on kids...Aerosoft is a POWER HOUSE in the Flight Simulation, and they have some of the very best data, skills, and developers! The problem is some of these "ranters" come to these forums and want ot compare an Airbus with PMDG 737 (first dumb mistake)! Then. no matter how well it flies or looks...they will keep saying...OMG it doesn't look like a PMDG...I'm going to die" In fact if tomorrow PMDG brings out a flying frog...These "kids" will TELL YOU WITH NO DOUBT, this is the best frog they have seen...Oh Yeah. (You can't fix blind...And you cannot force the piggy out of the mud.)
May 10, 201313 yr Green text now Johnny? Don't know how we are supposed to take you seriously  Brent Lewis
May 10, 201313 yr Green text now Johnny? Don't know how we are supposed to take you seriously  Ok, I don't understand the deal with the different text colors? When I went to school and university, we used to write and take notes and everything thing in between with different color of ink-pens- blue, black, red, and green. So, why are some folks afraid of being creative, or of making emphasis by issuing different font colors? I don't see why blue or red, or green looks bad? Colors are there for a reason every where we go. Maybe you're unique and get bored easily with redundancy? (I don't know). Look all around Avism and you will see all different colors of text all over the place. Get out and fly the skies of joy and happiness. Maybe I'm too happy for some of you guys and if I were to accommodate myself to the way someone else lives their life, I'll probably be miserable.

May 10, 201313 yr Author The simulation rate issue seems to be linked to sudden eind changes. With clear weather there is no problem. Enjoying it... Wind changes

(You can't fix blind...And you cannot force the piggy out of the mud.) Looks like you missed the point ... here, Johnny: The preceding posts were about a simmer who wants to look at the edge of the wings from his VC in order to detect ice that doesn't accumulate there at all - neither visually nor in aircraft weight nor in aerodynamics. I was stating that this scrutiny is ... pointless, that's where his comparing Olli to Johnny started. Each to their aim ... and every flightsimmer is different ... Maybe you missed Joshua's last in that post: Same goes for you and others. If you have problems don't shutter up and try to call out a developer on an external forum without first seeking help on your issues. Doesn't do much good to bottle up your rage just to let it out somewhere else. Why not try and fix the issue? And what is more, this is the leading AAX developer being present and offering support personally. The usual way for customers is to negotiate with support staff ... or beta-testers ... these people doing their best to help ... alternatively coordinating with development in the background ... replying to the customer ... customer comes up with a different issue ... game starts all over again. What we have on the 'official' Aerosoft AAX forum is a live, quick, responsive place to deal with all kinds of issues - and customers, beta-testers, mods, devs all benefit from it! The simulation rate issue seems to be linked to sudden eind changes. With clear weather there is no problem. Enjoying it... Wind changes Is this the AAX's reaction to wind shifts you're pointing at? Depending on frame rates? What happened to AVSIM
May 10, 201313 yr Author I had problems keeping simulation rate x4 and fell of the sky. But I think it happened with wind changing abruptly
May 10, 201313 yr What bashing, the plane didn't fly properly and i simply mentioned it to the developers so it could be fixed. Actually, Joshua even talked to me about it in a post at Aerosoft's forum. You're making stuff up. I never said the BBS was the real future for a good A320. Making stuff up version 2.0. If i had to say that, i'd point my finger to FSL. If you want to pick on me, do it properly. I didn't even fly the 1.10, so i have no idea what's it doing now. Instead of flying such a cliché route, try going over the ocean with it or trying a different approach on a 'weird' airport to see how it behaves, that's how you know it flies or not. Glad you like it, i sincerely hope i like it too - There's a whole family coming in based on the same: A318 A319 A330 and i want them all. Hey, ya'll quit picking on Nuno. He is not a "basher", he is a critic. Robert Yunque
May 10, 201313 yr Hey, ya'll quit picking on Nuno. He is not a "basher", he is a critic. The discussion above wasn't directed at Nuno. We're all fine with Nuno. Nuno is fine with us. Nuno is fine with the AAX. The AAX is fine with ... Discussion above relates to a different forum member ... I had problems keeping simulation rate x4 and fell of the sky. But I think it happened with wind changing abruptly The AAX needs a 'solid' frame rate of around 18 fps without time acceleration (1x). 4x time acceleration results in a 'demanded' frame rate that's more than 4x18. Chances are, the fly-by-wire got 'choked' by 4x. Time acceleration is not recommended for AAX. FBW on my system easily gets out of hand when using 2x already ... What happened to AVSIM
