Aerosoft have just released "Skiathos X", the St Maarten of the Greek Islands.  

 

I've just downloaded and quickly flown across the island is the DR400, and it is special !!!!

 

Great frame rates (TBC when I take the AXE, NGZ and Q400 there :wink:), and looks amazing, with some superb animations.

Been waiting for this, will get tonight!

It is superb!!!!!!!! ........ the building placement is awesome;   it really feels very three dimensional and real!        FPS are outstanding, but again, I have only flown on it with the AS DR400 so far.

 

Let's see how it does with the complex heavies.   :smile:

Given that the Q400 is as good in terms of performance as pretty much any default, it sounds like it will be an excellent companion to Skiathos...

I have KOSX, Santorini, Heroklion, Fly Tampa Athens and I love them all.

Thanks.  I'll still buy it, but I hope scenery developers start following the example of FSDT by relying more on FSX native textures.

My credit card will take a battering on this beauty as soon as I hear it's not some kind of frame gobbler like so many other of Aersoft's airports! However, I will stand corrected to a degree, 'cos Heaklion is a cracker.
