My credit card will take a battering on this beauty as soon as I hear it's not some kind of frame gobbler like so many other of Aersoft's airports! However, I will stand corrected to a degree, 'cos Heaklion is a cracker.

FPS are excellent.

It's nothing like Santorini.

Gents, do not forget 29palms Mikonos X, it is another stunning scenery from these guys and a must.

WOW! This is one of the best sceneries I have purchased for a long time. It is superb! For those wanting to know about frames, I'm sat at the end of RWY02 in the NGX with dense AG and seeing 28fps!!! In the Lancair, flying around the island it never dropped below 30! It's smooth with quick texture loading and hi res ground textures. These guys obviously know how to create beautiful scenery. I suggest Aerosoft take note for future projects.

I agree. I wish Lars had the team to create all the islands with such detail.

Mikonos X is very good, but this one raised the bar.

The screenshots look fantastic.  Does anyone know if the runway is long enough for an MD-11?

I don't think so (in real life at least)... largest is a 757 / A321 I believe.

You could try it though - there's water at each end of the runway, so make sure you have your life jacket on!

BTW, not sure whether the rest of you guys are experiencing the same, but from where I stand, the AI road vehicles are some of the smoothest I've ever seen in FSX.

Just wanted to add if you are flying around the Greek islands the freeware Greek Islands Detailed Coastlines scenery is a must!

Just wondering; is this better than UTX?

This is the most amazing scenery add-on ever ........... tubeliners, GA, gliders, you name it; it's perfect for it (well, maybe not 'heavies')

Just arrived at Skiathos, from Manchester, at dusk :

It's NOT DX10 compatible.

Bummer, thanks for posting that, saved me some money.

Thanks for the heads up DC6.  It's very tempting to buy though.  I suppose my landings would always have to be flaps 50 with autobrake set to MAX and, oh yeah, a good life jacket lol
