What is the quality of the roads in the scenery, if you liked to drive them every now and then?

No. Using DX9 and Also have Win7 64 bit. Currently I am upgrading GEX Europe. Didn't know there was a big upgrade. Maybe that will help.

Purchased, downloaded and very impressed with this scenery.  The terrain mesh, autogen and textures makes me feel closer to my native home being a Greek - Canadian!  Has anyone got any advice on executing the NDB 02 approach in the Q400 from the ATV fix?  I constantly seem to gain too much airspeed due to a steep descent profile. 

Hi,guys love this scenery however apart fm the airport all other areas look very flat any Ida's what causes this? At the back of the airport there's a small knoll I take it that supposed to be houses on it mine are flat clay squares. Any help would be appreciated. Wayne

If you have ORBX Europe, you will have to disable it in order for the AG to show up.

Yes. Make sure you select default with ftx central.

 

This scenery rocks. Can't stop flying ft Athens to skiathos in the q400.

I would report that via email to Aerosoft Support;   I'm sure they'd want to see that, and I'd bet they can find the cause for you.

Go into your fsx.cfg and find the Wather section and mark

 

[Weather]

Waterspouts=0

 

Just kidding of course, but that's what it looks like is some type of waterspout like in this pic.

 

 

 

 

I've never seen anything like that in FSX. At first it looked kind of like the graphic that displays when show thermals is turned on, but yet different. Hope you can find a way to get it sorted as you wouldn't want that ruining your scenery.

Hi Wayne, I am afraid there is an issue with the scenery that I only became aware of last night... It seems Orbx scenery has an effect on Skiathos Autogen. I have experienced EXACTLY the same problem as yourself. It seems to be associated with the FTX central, FTX central MUST be set to default when installing Skiathos and then switched to default when flying outside of Orbx scenery. However, while I have confirmed this to be the case, what I have not had time to test yet is if you keep FTX central switched to any other setting other than default and then fly Skiathos, then close FSX, switch back to the correct default setting in FTX central ie default and then see if the autogen has disappeared. If this is the case then it will require a reinstall of Skiathos. My own issue was caused by installing Skiathos with FTX not set on default, so I will be interested if the effect you show becomes apparent after perhaps inadvertently flying Skiathos with FTX central set to any other area other than default and switching back to the correct setting. My hunch is that the problem will show itself.

 

There is an active thread over on the Aerosoft forum relating directly to this issue. Until it is resolved, I suggest you reinstall the scnerey Wayne with FTX central set to default and ensure it remians that way each time you fly outside of Orbx scenery. At least this appears to have worked for me...
