I am thinking of buying the FlyTampa Dubai since the PMDG 777 should be releasing very soon. I have FlyTampa Buffalo and FlyTampa St. Maarten, and both are great addons with decent frame rates (at least on my system.)

 

So, who out there owns FlyTampa Dubai? How are the frames compared to other FlyTampa products? How is the quality compared to some other good scenery addons?

Thanks for the fast reply! Looking at your PC, we have very similar computer specs, which is good news because if you have good performance then I should too.

Its pretty good.  I just re installed it awaiting the 777.

The one thing is, no working jetways unless you purchase the AES credits.

Apart from that, in DX-10 mode the runway red/blue lights show up with a huge box but nothing really serious.

I purchased yesterday. My frames are fine with the NGX. Everyone's system is different. Frames can be subjective if not compared appropriately.

 

Since its in the desert, and presumably little change to weather. This airport should not get into OOM errors.

I think it is one of their finest airports.  A must have if you fly in or out of Dubai.

It is an amazing scenery, one of the best I have ever seen from any developer. The fact that they modeled the whole city skyline and stuff too just makes it incredible. Virtually no impact on FPS for me either.

It's excellent! When I first looked at the screenshots, I was afraid that my FPS would be in the single digits, but after reading some very positive reviews, I thought I'd take the risk - and I was amazed. It is as if there was no addon at all, I get between 25 and 30 FPS there in the AAX. Dubai is really one of the best sceneries there are, the only pitty is that there's not too many addons in the closer area which would allow short haul flights of maximum 1.5hrs.

Don't ask .... BUY !

It may be the best airport/city package ever.

Awesome addon and worth every penny, surprisingly very smooth with little impact on frame rates, as stated above only down side is lack of good qaulity addon airports in the region.

Very nice scenery, highly recommended, runs very smooth even with my weak a** rig B)

It's Dubai getting a lot of construction right now? They only thing that bugs me about buying airport scenery is the fact that after some time it becomes out dated because so many airports get new runways terminals etc.

Indeed, not even a question on this one, go get it! In all honesty for the mixture of coverage area, detail, and performance, it probably is the best overall scenery for FSX right now.
