AIRPORT CHARTS

Featured Replies

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get some really good airport charts?  I currently use Jepp. Charts, but they don't seem to be very clear - especially with the taxiways which is what I'm really looking for.  I saw a video on youtube on the NGX and they guy pulled up charts while in the VC cockpit, and also checklists.  Any Ideas anyone?

Thanks

Rob

Aivlasoft? or whatever. no idea how that works.

Chartwise, best are LIDOs for me. Although it's not like with jepps, which you can probably find under a randomly picked rock in a park near you.

thats the only downside to GlobaAir.com right now is that it only covers the USA, however if you are flying in the USA its an excellent resource to have, other than that I am sorry... :(

The world http://www.navigraph.com/Charts.aspx. Very good charts that are detailed and current. However, they are payware but just buy the airports you need. Each airport is inexpensive.

The U.S. http://www.fltplan.com/AwMainToApproachPlates.exe?CRN10=1&CARRYUNAME=PILOT&MODE=SEARCH&end=end . FAA charts and they are free but lack gate numbers.

Or you could spend all day searching the internet and come up with a partial set of charts that are out of date.

Half of the Navigraph charts are out of date the SECOND you buy them, just go have a look at the Approaches for KATL or KIAD....they're out of date, even with the current batch! What are you talking about "Or you could spend all day searching the internet and come up with a partial set of charts that are out of date," that is complete BS!!! It takes to seconds to find them, go have a look.
