LOL, posted that in one of the other threads to about XW landings.

 

Funny thing is KAL tried to get that video removed off YouTube as they believed it tarnished their reputation (and did so succesfully for the first few uploads of it which occurred). I am amazed that the crew were able to 'recover' (recover in ' on purpose) and not cause any airframe structure damage (I am sure there would of been a thorough MX check after that landing).

 

....although any landing you can walk away from is a good one :rolleyes:

I could be mistaken, but I do believe they show video of this plane at the gate and the skin has noticeable ripples up the left fuselage. Looked scary bad

About time to start reading the FCTM .

At Heathrow tonight and not long ago I saw 2 777s take off, made me want this even more!

Great news, and many thanks to the PMDG team for (almost) getting this plane to us. I kinda of knew there was a major announcement here when the forums were blocked, and I had to sign in. Tom Allensworth had mentioned yesterday that this was an option he was going to use to prevent the forums from exploding.

I would guess, the pricing would be around $70? That's what the PMDG 737NGX Base Pack was set to... (More precisely $69.99)

I do remember seeing a 767 with some pretty bad stress damage (All Nippon from memory)... Looks like those Asian chaps like to take her to the limit (and pass it in some cases) :lol:
