Will Microsoft Flight still work after GFWL closes?

Featured Replies

Oh.  I guess this wasn't true, after all.

Thank you for clarifying that the demise of GFWL actually does create a problem for some FSX users and that friendship with Google isn't the solution.

No, mis-understood again. Download the full, legal, uncracked, untouched, unedited version of FSX from the Internet, install said program, and activate your software with your legal, purchased, FSX license key.

Have you actually tried to do any of this?

(sigh)

Here we go again...

Please show up where we can download this "full, legal, uncracked, untouched, unedited version of FSX from the Internet" that is an authorized distribution by Microsoft and is not in violation of copyright laws.

Stop dancing around the subject.  When you make an extraordinary claim, the burden is on you to prove it.  Either prove it, or you are admitting you can't.

Why do you avoid showing proof that this full, legal, uncracked, untouched, unedited version of FSX from the Internet exists?

RoboRay you can still download FSX here

But, the real concern for members in this forum is Microsoft Flight, not sure how we got on the FSX thing.  Must have been Jim.

Do I have to go over to his house, install it, and activate it also?

RoboRay you can still download FSX here.

That one will cost about $30.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

Why do you avoid showing proof that this full, legal, uncracked, untouched, unedited version of FSX from the Internet exists?

Because there isn't anyplace to. He got caught in his lies and now he's trying to backtrack. The only  way to get it is give MS some more cash and buy the disks which is what RoboRay doesn't want to do.

Just ignore the troll.

If you're going to play Skorna's assistant, at least link to what he claims is out there:  a legitimate free download.  I've already bought FSX, thanks.

Jim Skorna keeps insisting that people should simply "download FSX off the internet" and activate that copy.

There are two possibilities here:

There actually is a free FSX download sanctioned by Microsoft and Skorna is simply being difficult, which seems pretty shocking based on his posting history.

(cough)

Or,  there is no such legitimate download, and he's known it along.  In that case, it takes a big man to admit his error, while it only take a very very small man to pretend like he made no error of judgement and keep trying to divert attention away from his statements.

The fact is, Skorna is openly and repeatedly advocating conpyright infringement on AVSIM.  While I'm not intimately familiar with AVSIM's policies, I'm pretty sure software piracy is a pretty serious issue.  Perhaps somebody on the admin side should have a little chat with him.

The fact is, no I am not advocating copyright infringement on AVSIM or anywhere else. Many of my posts have been written fighting against such actions. Please note that even in this thread, when those words have been used by others I have made sure to attempt to correct those ideas. I have never once suggested anything else, but have have provided the information necessary to find, download, install, and activate a LEGAL copy of FSX, with a LEGAL registration key. because of post #51.

If people think otherwise or don't want to look into this, then that is their choice, but everything I have suggested to do is perfectly legal. Unless there is a personal attack posted against me, this will be my last post on the matter. And if there IS a personal attack, I will personally write an e-mail to Tom pointing out the attack.

I don't think this thread is going to provide any more information on the original subject so as with all threads that go way off topic and end up with an argument, this one is going to the archives.

Thanks for playing.

Thank you.

Rick
