PMDG, please hurry up and give us something to fly....I'm sick of FSX!!! :t0103:   All these OOM's, crashes, bad frames...it'S enogh!

FSX is like an old granny you have to sleep with just because there is no young lady out there and you don't wanna play with yourself!

And then came XP10...I'm sure she's worth a try... ...but she needs some help you know...she doesn't know the PMDG style!

So please....let me show her the PMDG style!  :p0504:

I hope their silence means a full work-in-progress, but I've to say I'm eager too to hear any news about their first XP project.

I hope their silence means a full work-in-progress, but I've to say I'm eager too to hear any news about their first XP project.

I think it's more likely the silence means they're too busy working on their weather radar for FSX (rolls eyes).

No X-Plane love over here. All hope now lies with IXEG.

... i don't know why You assume something like that!

Why these neagtive assumption?

PMDG are very well known for barely and/or rarely ever making any public announcement until there is something "serious" or "congrete" to be announced!

And why all that hurry now - maybe PMDG just wait until XPlane's 10.30 version is out for instance - In my opinion that would make lots of sense!

I for my part now simply lean back and continue to enjoy what is available by now from PMDG - because even though FSX is an aging platform and although i (just as so many others here) am eagerly awaiting PMDG's first release for X-Plane as well - if set properly it is still a real fantastic joy to fly around in any PMDG aircraft in FSX. So be it for now.

And when there is something to say and to be announced from PMDG in regards to X-Plane i am sure they will let us know!

:smile2:

Enjoy flying and happy landings.

I think all these PMDG holdouts should start to wade into Xplane's waters that way the shock won't be so overpowering. There are a number of study sims made by some very talented Xplane Devs that have been perfecting their craft for some years now. Given the popularity of P3D 2.2, I would assume that would reduce PMDG's stride in developing for Xplane as it would be far less risky and costly to just port over their current best sellers than to further split their customer base into thirds. I hope I'm wrong, but at the end of the day, it's all about the $$$.

I'm putting my hopes in IXEG. Not only do they look like they have the passion and commitment to pull off an excellent simulation, they actually seen to respect their fan base and respond to their questions.

I really hope they bring out something to beat PMDG and make them realise they aren't in a league of their own.

I think the lack of competition has made PMDG a bit too arrogant.

In just 3 months and a few days you joined the forum, you've realized that PMDG is arrogant, yet the simple instruction with regards to signing your posts with your full name is so difficult for you to follow. That's arrogance! It's amazing how you guys look yourselves in the mirror and think the guy looking at you is either a picture of some other guy or sometimes you mistake the mirror for a TV screen...I'll give you a tip - check out the color of the guy's shirt, and if you still think it's someone else, move your head or your hands or something, and notice that he is moving concurrently. They cannot all be coincidental. I'm going to help you out here. What you mistake as PMDG's arrogance is actually YOUR impatience! No matter how many times you whine "Are we there yet?!" The distance of the journey will never decrease, so grow up already. Maybe if you've been here long enough (or maybe not, judging by some others who've been here for years...) you would know that PMDG has always given us info as and when due.

Riiiight.. because it's only logical that they can't be working on multiple projects at a time.

I mean, what are they, a development company or something?

Oh, wait...

Come on PMDG, show us some news, it's been 6 months after your last post, I'm sure you had some progress over this time.

We're sick of flying a bad simulator.

Fábio Magnoni

As always... When they have something they can share, and want to share, they'll share it.

Also, I guess it's kinda useless to keep asking for updates, since they've made it clear the priority right now is SP1 for the 777, and the first expansion, the 777-300ER.

I'm not saying they're not working on X-Plane project(s) at the moment, just that probably far from all resources are being devoted to it. Also, I don't see them doing announcements in a "wrong order".

This thread is as annoying as a slow dripping faucet! 1 comment ages ago and I have it lit up under my topics for months. Please make it stop, or just as well, how, like in Facebook, can I un-follow this drivel.

Bad simulator?

I don't know what you mean, but it seems a little harsh to describe X-Plane as bad simulator just because there's no PMDG aircrafts available yet.

Angelo M. Maggio

Tomcat no use entertaining such a stupid comment.
