December 20, 201312 yr Flight Sim is truly emerging from the "dark ages" thanks to LM. What a great team they are ... Cheers, Mac
December 20, 201312 yr The sun is shining and we are emerging from the dark deep winter... Thank you LM: a bunch of people who appear as passionate about flying and making the best code as we who use it? They also want/need to inform their fellows about how good the future will be. That's my impression so far anyway. I've said it before, but certain developers who think they are bigger and better than anyone else and who hold transparency at arms length should learn a trick or two here. This is a tour de force in public relations. By offering updates to the community and informing at certain key stages LM are forming a trusting relationship. They have not ever said when the update will be released, but they don't need too. It's obvious to everyone that lots of effort is being invested and the community 'get' that it will be released when its ready. Seasons greetings LM, and for us, the future will be awesome.
December 20, 201312 yr Would be nice if 2.1 will be released before Christmas… I hope they don't wait with releasing it until they solved every problem! I am also constantly looking at the sites of for instance Orbx and A2A to see if they fixed a few of their problems. I am having a very hard time to keep my P3D install clean… ^_^
December 20, 201312 yr Excited about the improvements for 2.1, but for now FSX remains my primairy sim until more addon developers bring out the P3D v2 installers for their products. Guess it will take a few more months before P3D V2.1 (or perhaps V2.2 by that time) will fully replace FSX for me. Regards, Frank van der Werff
December 20, 201312 yr what amazes me is how many hrs have been spent by the tweaking Guru,s on writing tweaking advice on Micro stutters and other issues when the problem causing the issue has most probably not really been found,I wonder what other little gems LM will end up correcting ,I think I will wait for LM to produce a tweakers guide ,at least I will know they have actually covered all point to resolve the issue,
December 20, 201312 yr I sort of agree now I know what caused the stutter in the first place.. It's shaping up that a lot of those FSX tweaks never actually fixed anything but more so just moved the goal posts to dodge a problem. FSX tweaking in a nutshell. January 14, 201412 yr Wow this is definitely big and great news to hear. I've been struggling with different settings using nvidia inspector and in p3d to try and get rid of these micro stutters and it's really frustrating. I'm looking forward to the next update. This sounds like a major accomplishment if they've got this issue resolved. Thanks for the updates. Really love how they take the time to keep us informed and how they really listen to the community. Now that's what I call teamwork. And some people want to mess around with P3d2 in the same fashion.
