Hi Folks,

OK - I'm taking the plunge - I do like turboprops and for $10.00 how can I go wrong... I know this has been a significant labor of love by the community to improve the aircraft - but where's all the work ??? Are the files buried in this thread of 600+ posts somewhere ???

Thanks...

Regards,

Scott

Sorry about that, Bjoern. You've done so much for the Metroliner that I had just assumed the autopilot was yours. :-)

Hey ... thanks go out to lzamm as well. Between the two of you, you've made the Metroliner one of my favourite aircraft!

How does one purchase this plane? I went to the Razbam site and put it in the cart. Clicked checkout and it prompts for a returning customer login. No way of making a new account.

Check any of the reseller stores (Just Flight, FS Pilot Shop, Sim Market, Flight Sim Shop etc).  Some of them should have it on sale, I can't remember exactly but think I got it from FS Pilot shop a while back.

can buy from simmarket, fspilotshop or other outlets for cheap.

Good day guys,

Ok after a long absence with this plane. I decided to install this gem, along with all the mods, startup sounds and wx radar. Only managed to get it all working last night as I had similar problems as in the previous posts. So reading up through a lot of posts helped, so thanks for that guys ;-), and especially to Bjoern. Big Thank you! One of the few brilliant turboprops out there which i will enjoy now.

However im stuck with one small problem, I will also read the manuals again tonight, but after I got done with all the mods and changes, it was way past 12am. So I didnt get much time to experiment.

But what would the reason be for the aircraft not to move forward. The throttles are moving all the way to High and to FLT Idle and even at full power, the aircraft does not move..yes brakes are off in case you were also wondering ;-)

It worked prior to the mods and everything as I had to do several flights to try and get things working. But after successful completion of the mods, the plane finally came to better life. But now im unable to move the aircraft on its own power.

Did anybody else experience this, or did I by accident missed a step?

Any help or guidance will be appreciated :-) Thanks again.

Once again, thank you very much Bjoern. Did some reading up lastnight finally. the bird is now working 100% :-)

Those cockpit sounds really makes a huge difference!

Yep, they do. And as sad as it sounds, I can't fly without cockpit sounds anymore. Which usually results in a ton of extra work for me since a lot of plane makers have more important things to worry about than clicks and clacks.

100% agreement Bjoern. I also came to that conclusion. I have now, including my last install, the Metroliner, prior to that, installed A2A, Iris Pro series pc9, PMDG 737, Majestic Dash8-Q400 and the Milviz A109 heli with added cockpit sounds. Anything with added virtual cockpit sounds to increase the realism level. Unfortunately it seems A2A have set a benchmark which most developers are struggling to meet the new standard I guess.

Updated the mod release a bit. There was a bug in RM3_Custom_BK.xml that made the Metro impossible to taxi without NWS.

There's now a mention of the 2D popup mod and the Readme accounts for XMLTools 2.0.1 now.

The download link remains the same.
