Just posted a few WIP shots in our forum  B)

Liking them, smooth!

I'm on the ES Forum now and can't see any pics?  Which section are they in.

It is showing that there have been no new posts since April 2012 on the XLS section, from my end!

Perhaps refresh page if needed.

Is the forum topic is "Eaglesoft Citation XLS+ 560XL Extreme V2.0 Development Shots", the date I see on the post is April 24th, 2012. I'm probably missing it though but I just cant find anything posted recently.

Here is what you will see there. Remember, these are real early in the development stage so it is just a marker for now. Looks great though. Here is the introduction to the pics /quote

Eaglesoft Citation XLS+ 560XL Extreme V2.0 is under Development.
These are WIP dusk shots as my new GTX770 is being shipped and the textures are temp place holders.
Shots will be updated as we transition

And like Ron stated in the next post, these are simply FSX in-sim shots and not fully rendered or touched up.

You gotta love that new modern nose job on the XLS+. No more Rhino looks for XLS+. Unfortunately, I think the CJ1+ still has that ole legacy looking extended nose but it will have a nice new cockpit and updated avionics.

Ray

Thanks Ron,

The 2nd and 3rd shots look like the real deal to me. Buy that new modeler a cup of joe for a job well done.

Chris,

I think the ESDG forum needs a little work on the current date for a post. Even though it says April 24th, 2012 the post is earlier today with the WIP shots of the XLS+ exterior and cabin.

That thread was edited twice since it was originally posted so that may be the culprit.. B)

A cup of Joe and much more.. :good:

Hi Ron,

Another wish list item for the new XL (and with the other models at Eaglesoft) is an upgrade if possible to engine sound(s).  So far the jets in my hangar from Eaglesoft are awesome.  However not long after my first flight or two I find myself fiddling with the sound files to get what I am used to in actual aircraft flight.

I for one, and in my honest opinion, others will too, be more than happy to pay more in price if we can have better sound.  As the engines are right now they sound like an arcade game in a mall somewhere.  Not meant to offend here just describe.

You guys NAILED the sound of the GPU and other devices/widgets but the engines are horrible in sound.  Engine and cockpit sounds are very important as it is part of the aircraft "talking" to the pilot.  As does aircraft "feel" etc etc.

Thanks Ron, I know you guys can accomplish this.

(IF any other Eaglesoft Pilots out there agree, please let Ron know here) I might be the only fish in the tank on this but hey might as well ask.

Respectfully,

Jet

Jet, most of our sounds were originally authored by Aaron Swindle of Skysong Soundworks. Just flew the existing Hawker 400XP the other evening. Didn't have the sense you describe but remember I have a bass sub woofer as part of my rig so I don't hear an "arcade like" experience.

Like everything else FS related folks equipment and mileage varies...

That said, if we have a lot of feedback like yours we'll take a deeper look. B)
