Yup, you got it.  That favourite joystick of yours is made mostly of empty space and swirling molecules that give the appearance of form and solidity .-the truth being that no-thing is in fact solid.  Welcome to the universal virtual simulator ;-)

I don't think our flightsim hobby is over by any means. But I'm very curios to see what's beyond that 'exit' door that you mentioned, so I'm going to walk through it now and find out.

Er, the exit door has closed behind me and seems to be locked. Its cold out here and there are a lot of ex-simmers walking around looking quite vacant and lost. So could someone come down and let me back into the flightsim hobby house please?.

I'd say go play WarThunder for a bit, then tell me flight simulation is dead. Sure the entry point is arcade but man you have such a blast and the simulation part is nice too.
