April 26, 201412 yr In one of an unpopulated and unpopular area of Turkiye, 4 kids want airplanes to land in their city. To provide this they are making a hand made airfield, but planes don't land, until one morning... Cenk Demir Besiktas JK 1903
April 26, 201412 yr Moderator One doesn't even need to understand Turkish to get the gist of what the kids were saying. This was indeed a very well done and entertaining commercial! Thanks for sharing it... :Applause: Fr. April 28, 201412 yr Moderator no one ? What, you expected a reply in just barely over an hour? :He He: I actually watched this really cute commercial the other day from a post in another forum, albeit without the English subtitles... ...although it does seem a bit of a stretch that these kids never had run up that hill and noticed the airport runway, much less than they could run fast enough to actually meet the crew as they debarked the aircraft. :Just Kidding: Fr. April 28, 201412 yr This was already shown in the recent post "THY Commercial" just below this one but its good to see it again with English subtitles. I had thought it might be to celebrate opening a route to Iğdır, which is about as remote as you can get in Turkey, but I guess it was chosen as the only airport with a runway aligned with the iconic Mount Ararat. April 28, 201412 yr Reminds me of the Gimli Glider when that 767 almost landed on top of a bunch of kids riding their bikes on an old WW2 runway. Those kids got the surprise of their lives. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
