FSX, released in 2006, took at least 2 years after FS2004 was out. And this company expects to finish a full simulator in around 5 months when not a single line of code has been written? They should consider the fact that there are other software developers out there that know exactly what gets put into building a simulator and how much time it takes.

 

My guess is they just want your personal info. They can obtain your address, phone, full legal name... etc is from that beta team application page. Unless Boeing or the other companies can confirm this project actually exists, I would recommend staying away from that site. I just cleared my cookies and cache.

I think its suspicious...as i've said on other threads, they can't possibly make a sim so quickly, unless they have over 3000 people working on it nonstop. Don't give them any personal information.

My first thought on going to the site was: How can anyone make a full-fledged flightsim in less than a year? FSX took years building on FS2004!

Hahahaha, people DO want a new simulator xD

People seem to forget that I did announce I am working on a new Flight Simulator about a year ago. Currently I am at the Research Phase of the project as I am currently reading C++ for Dummies every night before I go to bed. Compared to MS I am further ahead then they are considering they are not working on anything....so that is promising. I will keep you posted on my progress.   :p0502:
