Went to RIAT at the weekend you should have seen the Typhoon. Vertical climb straight after take off, accelerating in the climb. No flying along the runway to gain speed first, like an F16 or F18 would, just straight up like a rocket. Fantastic power to weight ratio.

I was half expecting to see them do a barrel roll

Nice flying and beautiful aircraft.

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

I know those engines are quiet. But, that quiet!

Kevin M. Manley

The A350 display was just as impressive.

The Trent XWB is an amazing engine, and quiet.

12:56 the commentator mentions how incredibly quiet the A350 is. Earning the nickname "the hush liner".

I'm a little saddened that both the B787-9 and the A350 were only there for the trade days not the public show which I went to yesterday. Saying that I did see the -9 depart early, got to go on board one of BA's A318's and also the A380 F-WWOW :)
