August 23, 201411 yr A big fan Tom. Even though my father is from Wales, no relation to Tom Evans. You should check ancestry.com, you never know!! Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
August 23, 201411 yr You should check ancestry.com, you never know!! LOL, yeah you right. I feel confidant there is no relation, as Tom Evans is not from Wales. Peter ham is though, funny enough. August 23, 201411 yr Author FSXWX. Simple, reliable, free. Okay with all the talk about FSXWX, I went to try it but it said it requires FSUICP, which I don't have. Can anyone confirm that ASN doesn't require FSUICP either? i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
August 23, 201411 yr Okay with all the talk about FSXWX, I went to try it but it said it requires FSUICP, which I don't have. Can anyone confirm that ASN doesn't require FSUICP either? Then why not installing FSUICP then? It won´t destroy anything. Btw. I´ve installed Asn trial version: So far really nice. Looks pretty good and very smooth. It uses SimConnect. August 23, 201411 yr Author It works with a vengeance. The first time you encounter it you'll wonder if it's a bug. Hook What do you mean? FSUIPC is free and it fixed a broken FSX. Isn't there a paid version? What does it actually fix? Then why not installing FSUICP then? It won´t destroy anything. Btw. I´ve installed Asn trial version: So far really nice. August 23, 201411 yr I have ASN. I do not have FSUIPC in P3D. So ASN works without it. I used to use the paid FSUIPC in FSX do to some weather smoothing with AS2012, but that's no longer necessary with ASN. Some add-ons require the free version of FSUIPC, and they'll tell you if they do, and may even install it for you as well. ASN does not need it Wake turbulence "works with a vengeance", which means it's strong and will bite you hard, even if you're prepared for it. Most people report it as a bug the first time they encounter it in flight. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

August 23, 201411 yr ASN only option, want turbulence fly into a storm than you will discover why they dont in real life. The other day was landing in my ga plane 10 ft off ground just about to flare, and bang wind shear, smaked into the ground. So cool. FSX realwxlite was good, used it for years but it doesnt come close, and now that aerosoft and ASN are working together to get a realistic weather radar why wouldnt you get it. Beside if you spend all you life waiting for the latest version you will stll be flying with fsx weather. Radar
August 23, 201411 yr Author Hi all Thanks a lot for everybody's response. I just bought ASN and I'm really really satisfied. It's amazing! The only question I have is if there's a way to manually refresh the weather. Also, is there a way to manually begin the weather refresh? If you open ASN, its seems like it automatically puts in the weather. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
August 23, 201411 yr In weather Live Mode, ASN will always automatically download the weather. No, there isn't a way to refresh in ASN, but you can change the download interval to 5 minutes.
