The upgrade is quite considerable when you look at the feature list. The VC hasn't changed I don't believe in terms of the physical model but it has for example with the texture work which has been improved and also the gauges have been rewritten. It is very much worth paying for the upgrade in my opinion. Lawrence Ashworth

September 23, 201411 yr Will it also upgrade my 320? No, the 318/319 is standalone but Aerosoft are offering pricing discounts for those who own the current 320/321. As mentioned by ubersu another paid upgrade will be released at a later date which brings all the features that are in the 318/319 to the 320/321. Lawrence Ashworth
September 23, 201411 yr So the question is: Does it include a weather radar !!!? This weather radar technology is now available in FSX.... Thanks, Regis Regis Biassala
September 23, 201411 yr Yes, it does. Works with all weather engines. It also includes a terrain radar. September 23, 201411 yr Moderator Can anyone comment on the FPS impact the terrain/weather radar might have? I've only seen one post that mentioned a drop in FPS with the radar on, so I'm wondering if that's just an isolated problem. September 23, 201411 yr does the a318/319 have more than one switch for vc lights? thats one thing that i didn't care for, all knobs for lights did the same thing
September 23, 201411 yr I was testing the A319 in v2.4 RC2, made a quick video here ... but be aware my goal was seeing how P3D was performing in heavy clouds at dusk ... I used the A319 because it was new. This IS not a planned flight nor how one should fly the A319 nor is it about testing out features of the A319 (I just jumped in and went no manual reading, no prep as that was not my objective) ... but thought I'd share as it "may" answer some of your questions. Also on my google drive if YouTube stutters on you: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw0Q-fAfEZwyQ2xiMFpFRlNzelk/edit?usp=sharing Cheers, Rob.

September 23, 201411 yr I was testing the A319 in v2.4 RC2, P3D v2.4 RC2??? Release candidate? Are we that close to release again? Great video and great cloud performance by the way... [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE
September 23, 201411 yr LM had indicated publicly they were going to make a patch ... I'm not sure why they association v2.4 ... but most of the issues/features are bug fixes and performance improvements. Don't know when it'll be public, but RC2 usually indicates close to release. Performance in all situations seems very good to me (and they fixed a memory leak along with many other items, pylons/bridge issues however still remains) and it's very encouraging that LM continue to address our concerns and keep pushing the platform forward. Cheers, Rob.

Rob seeing sever terrain blurries in this bird none of my others do this including the fsx AXE - great fps so not sure whats going on and pretty much only on the outside spot view not inside vc view - ground looks terrible - are you seeing this ? I installed it without emt tool and with and rebuilt shaders - oh by the way this is with no weather radar turned on - fyi Rich Sennett
