Hey Bert.. Just FYI- The HSI will auto select DTK for next waypoint on the pop up, but you have to set it manually on the panel. That's with the V2.3 mods.

I use the rxp gns, so the autocourse function does it for me..

I have your panel mod in and everything was working great.  I took a flight today and all the sudden the airspeed indicator will work and then the next minute it will go to zero.  After a few minutes it will go back to normal speed.  This seemed to start when I started to do cold and dark start.  When I first start up FSX I get the PC12 running.  I go to the menu and choose cold dark start. I am going to try to having running and touch no switches and see aht it will do.  Everything else seems to be working OK.

 

Anybody having this problem?

Have you turned on the Probes heating??

I have turned on the probe heat upper panel right under prop de-ice and inert-sep. 

There is also a tweak from Bert to fix the Pitot Heat... have a look...

I did change the voltage in the CFG file.  I flew last night on a three leg flight.  On the third leg I lost the airspeed about half way into the flight.  Any other suggestions.  Is there another fix I might have missed.  I have gone through the forum and have don't everything I found.

I'm a bit confused here, have the PC12+SP1 installed a while and love it. Now what's nice to tweak or change so far? Did the probe-heat thing already that's all.

What else should I do more?

I went in and made the change to bert's mod as suggested and now everything seems to be working Ok

It is actually pretty nice "as is"... a lot of work has gone into this plane,  and it shows.

It's a great plane. Fast, can carry allot.. really slow take off and landing speeds.. easy to fly. The Swiss really hit this one out of the park, and Carenado did a great job with the sim version.
