Me thinks Carenado is getting a little bit too greedy.  $50 seems too much.

I toyed with it a little today. Two things really bothered me.

1.) no autothrottle, might simulate the real thing, I don't know

2.) I can't get the FMS to go direct to a waypoint for anything, just tries to find the gps route then goes to it...

There is no Hawker model that has autothrottles. The Hawker 1000 has Fadec-equipped P&W 305 engines that can maintain a selected speed on climb with a fixed throttle position, but other than that, all Hawkers have fully manual thrust management in all flight regimes.

appreciate the review. Carenado is top of the line with texture modeling, I hope they merge with a strong programming group and finally release complete bug free fully featured packages. They sure raised their prices like they are... reading a few posts with bugs listed as usual Carenado are behind with fms and ap logic programming. Best to wait a week and see if all the big bugs are fixed first. Carenado burns you like Captain Sim.

They have went crazy with pricing!!!!! Considering they delayed the Hawker by a year to add the limited number of systems present I can't imagine how basic the original release was going to be... I think they need to hire somone to do the programming and release the plane as a basic bird then release a systems upgrade for a fee later for those who want systems depth. That way everyone is happy the systems junkies get buttons to push and the I just want to fly crowd get a good looking plane to do that in. Carenado gains even more revenue. But what do I know I only took classes in business strategy for the past 4 years lol
