May 12, 201511 yr I want ashtray burned interior 1979 Dodge Ram pickup truck with empty glass beer bottles rolling in the bed with country tunes blasting. I won't bother with racing games as my motor skills get worse with time.
January 2, 201610 yr I was on Steam this morning and saw that Project Cars was 60% off. After reading the discussion on this thread either the PCars or Assetto Corsa would be the one to give a try if I want to get my feet wet in racing. My problem is my low end computer (I7- 2.8ghz and 1g video card) may not be powerful enough to allow any enjoyment. Sorta like watching a slide show trying to land a PMDG 737 at KLAX with my computer. The other possible problem is my logitech extreme 3D pro. Any feedback would be appreciated. January 2, 201610 yr It is a ATI Radeon HD5770 - 1 gig. I must say it has worked well with FSX, Carl PC AMD Ryzen R7-5700G (8-Core) processor), AMD Radeon RX 6600 Graphics 8GB/ 2TB HD + 500GB SSD, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Win11 _____________________________________________________________________________________
January 4, 201610 yr I've only played a bit, but I am definitely enjoying PCARS. I'm driving using an Xbox 360 controller... Not the most accurate thing in the world, but good enough for PCARS and Euro Truck Simulator. The game is definitely very detailed, with great sound, and many things to do. Whilst the sim is actually very good, I'm a bit skeptical of the marketing practices by WoMD. I bought the sim about 30 minutes before the Steam summer sale ended. About an hour after the summer sale ended, WoMD announces PCARS 2 (the sequel). Perfect timing, eh? It is a ATI Radeon HD5770 - 1 gig. I must say it has worked well with FSX, I don't know if you care anymore since the sale is over, but I don't think the 5770 would be good enough. I guess it will not be released before 2017  Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024

January 5, 201610 yr Great game - I have a Thrustmaster T300RS wheel but use my XBox controller more often out of laziness. I used the following forum post to set it up, it really makes a difference. http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?23153-Xbox-One-Controller-Configuration-Guide
