May 24, 201511 yr What is it ? I think the force of the engines is causing the horizontal stabilizer to shake. Shows how much power the T7 has. Philip LaBianca _____________________ "I think, therefore I am."
May 24, 201511 yr Happens on most types with high power settings/low or no forward speed: it's the turbulent jet efflux. For a real demonstration of the power and dangers of jet efflux, this report is worth a read: http://cfapp.icao.int/fsix/sr/reports/05003160_final_report.pdf (and this was just a 737!) Simon Kelsey
May 24, 201511 yr Sorry, this was a not worth five minutes... the horizontal stabilizers shake. Yes. What did you expect? Dan Downs KCRP
May 24, 201511 yr I am very impressed about that brakes... and this tiny tiny chocks ^^ Good vid, thank you! Klaus Schmitzer i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020
May 31, 201511 yr He (topic starter) is talking about the vapor funnel into the right engine - no the shaking of the stabilizer. This plane seemed to be under a test with wheels chocked and engines cranked fairly high. Paul Gugliotta
May 31, 201511 yr He (topic starter) is talking about the vapor funnel into the right engine Watch the tail after 2 minutes! I guess he DID mean the buffeting tailplane. What I take from this video is, how well PMDG have captured the GE90 whine in their product. "A life is like a garden. June 1, 201511 yr Yeah its a high power run on the right engine, probably due to maintenance, the left engine will be at low power its only the right engine thats being taken up to high power, I think they they have only chocked the right bogey too, stopping the aircraft rotating, AME GE90, GP7200 CFM56
