Hi.  I think I will finally go, somewhat reluctantly,  to 3.2 from 3.1 and have a question.  I really only want to install the "Client" section of the update.  I have a pretty simple setup with only ORBX (Global, Vector, Open LC Europe, 2 regions, Trees, and an airport), My Traffic 6.0a, and a couple of 3rd-party aircraft.  Am I correct that I don't NEED anything more than "Client" for that setup and don't need to reinstall FTX Global?

As far as i understand it and maybe someone can confirm if you update the client only then you won't have to reinstall FTX Global, I am planning on updating the Client, Content and Scenery, which i think does require a reinstall of FTX Global?

Yes Client uninstall 3.1 and install 3.2 is all you need.. nothing else. No need to mess with Orbx

I have a similar setup as you and do not run GSX or other programs that create menus so I just installed the client update and it looks great! I am finally going to load my NE British Isles for some real night flying.

 

I am very reluctant to mess things up now so unless someone has a very compelling reason to install the content update. From what I read, it's just a reinstall of the Global textures, REX textures, PrecipFX, and HD Airport textures.

 

I think I'm done for now and it's back to flying.  :smile:  :smile:  :smile:

I'd love to know  -  BEFORE I spend $$  This can get expensive really quick, because Lockheed Martin says that P3d Pro v 3 is a new and separate program.  You can install it on the same computer, but you will have to re-install ALL of your Aircraft and Scenery Add-ons.  (That's what they say....really!)

I believe the only difference is to fix a license activation bug some were having with 3.2.2.
