  • I agree with you in so much as the price is good value for the new platform; however, people are entitled to view this differently the value is relative to them.

It's in the process.... unfortunately it's a pretty long process this time around (and requires coordination of several systems, resellers and components), but we're getting there.  If I had to guess

Since there will be a free 7 day trial for AS16, everyone can evaluate it on their own system at no risk, and decide if the improvements are worth the price of upgrading.   I've owned every release

It is now 2006z, Damian. :P

It's now out

I hope it will be available on PC Aviator site as that's where I purchased my original copy of ASN.

Can't you just purchase the upgrade version on FSPilotShop, and then input your ASN-key into AS16?

you don't  need  to  since  I bought  asn  and  ase   from simmarket    and  bought  the  upgrade   from fspilotshop    since   couldn't  find  a way  to get   a upgrade   from simmarket   from where  I originally  bought  it,  another  story.

That is true Peter and Anders - I went about it that way in the end - I think FSPilotshop had a nice weekend! - and could update using the ASN key. Really enjoying the weather more than ever!

The upgrade price is too high for what you get. Hope they rethink this trend. Also two versions and P3D being 10 bucks more is just another trend we could do without.

yea  I  guess   that the  devs  could have  given the upgrade  for  free  for  all the  time  they spent  on it. its  not like  they  just whip it  up  in 2  days

Considering what I paid for PMDG in P3D this is a bargain!

And that was basically a portover with nothing new added compared to the FSX version.

Thanks for that. So it wasn't just me, who were having problems with the discount on SimMarket... was scratching my head out, as to WHY I didn't get the discount... even though, the announcement on the product says it gives me one.

Weird...
