I notice there is a upgrade from ASN to AS16 for FSX but not for P3d. Is this correct or the site isn't fully ready?

  • I agree with you in so much as the price is good value for the new platform; however, people are entitled to view this differently the value is relative to them.

It's in the process.... unfortunately it's a pretty long process this time around (and requires coordination of several systems, resellers and components), but we're getting there.  If I had to guess

Since there will be a free 7 day trial for AS16, everyone can evaluate it on their own system at no risk, and decide if the improvements are worth the price of upgrading.   I've owned every release

Thanks. Sometimes my brain isn't warmed up this early. lol

Haha no it's not only you, i made the same mistake.

I feel like paying 32 euros to go from ASN to AS2016, for what it offers, is not that worth it to be honest.

The price on the texture set seems more interesting, but it will need a comparison with the REX product

The price seems okay, but I need to see more as well. And I need to see more of what REX will offer in its new product

I have FEX, REX3 & 4 along with some free textures and though I hate to say it, one can have too many clouds, unless they are truly magnificent.

Looking forward to seeing more user shots with Cloud Art.

I'm sure you have spent at least as much on a night out , seriously.. quit posting such hollow winging without any thought.

Yeah i know, i am a computer programmer. I maintain what i said regarding differences between FSX and P3D.

Looks like a great package!  I've loved and enjoyed ASN everyday since I got it and use it every flight. I'll pick this new suite up as soon as available.  The one time I had a problem they were super quick to help.

I own REX TD+Soft Clouds but don't even have it currently installed.  I'm excited about having a simple all in one solution of textures/weather engine.

Happy to support these guys.

something odd about these clouds specially No.5

I think it is mainly VC reflections making it look a bit weird (at least I hope so).

Yes, that's exactly what it is.  I believe I was flying the default Baron 58 at the time and those are VC reflections.

If you only bought ASN last year then this 'upgrade' isn't cheap!

Not moaning it's just at this price the upgrade needs justifying rather than a lower price would have been an instant buy.

I agree, and in my case I just bought it 4 months ago, (A bit before the AS16 announcement)

and it included both FSX & P3D versions.

I'm happy with REX textures and the current ASN +SP5 in P3D v3, so unless this is the next best thing since sliced bread I'll stay with ASN for a while, all I really wanted was their new in flight wx Radar.

Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

Well then you are aware that the price is actually a bargain for the time involved ;-) Or you could make it yourself ;-)

Customer since the first Active Sky first version and all version after and found always one of the best investments in my simulators

I agree. I have been buying all their products for over a decade.

Will definately get this, when it's out!
