Introducing xEnviro - Ultimate Environment Engine

Featured Replies

I like it to but will wait and see what user reviews of the product say once it is released. In any case I wont be sinking any more cash into SMP until this has been released and reviewed.

All my purchases are on hold until XP11 is released. This does look nice though. All in one program versus the mix-match offerings now is appealing.

I asked this question over at the Org after watching a time-lapse video but had no bites; do the clouds in XEnviro move with the wind?

Just found out about this, it does look interesting!

Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."

Any hands-on experience worth sharing ?

Anyone tried it in XP11 already ? Does it even work in XP11 ?

is´t not out now - :hi: ! I hope that will be soon - and to be honest - it´s necessary - except some fog enhacements it´s the same "disappointing" (XPlane 3) weather "engine" !

I´m asking me really why is this word ,or better said, this part of XPlane is such a problem to be reworked...

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D , watercooled, GeForce RTX 4090, RAM 64GB Kingston Fury 6000Mhz , Fractal Design 7 XL, MSI X670 Carbon, all SSD

Ah, ok Humpty and AUA... I will wait and see what this new version really brings, and Yes, XP11 is as lausy as XP10 in as far as weather goes :-/

True, apparently xEnviro weather structure seems similar (or the same) as default X-Plane weather, but honestly I've seen some of the most realistic weather rendition ever (for example, watch 0:35 to 1:25 in the sunset timelapse video) also in terms of colors/atmosphere.

Although probably still lacking in the convective area, apparently it renders incredibly well the most common stratiform/overcast clouds.

Yes, that's what got me thinking about it Murmur :-)
