July 6, 20178 yr I've not updated in quite a while and i' m running ftx global 2010 Would getting this be worth buying over the 2010 version? Pete Little
July 6, 20178 yr Are there any freeware global mesh products available? The cost of the the payware mesh (about EUR 40) is hard to justify for high altitude airliner flights. Zicheng Cai

July 6, 20178 yr Airport plateaus is the number one reason I'm not reinstalling Global Mesh. While it is awesome to fly over all the fantastic terrain it's all quickly ruined when you see your airports sitting on hideous plateaus. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

I updated a few months ago from ftx global 2010 It certainly makes a very noticeable difference in accuracy as long as your system is up to the task I'd say its well worth it if the accuracy is important to you. July 7, 20178 yr Are these compatible with ORBX FTX Global? Also what's the difference between the FS Global 2018 and Next Generation? Daniel

Well, ORBX is shamelessly showing off OpenLC South America using Vector in v4 in their forums. :) Jacek G. July 7, 20178 yr The FS Global product line naming convention has always been confusing as *heck* to me. I took advantage of the last upgrade offer when FS Global Ultimate - NG was introduced (DVD) a few months ago. Is there any real differences between that version and the FSGU-NG 'FTX' version they are announcing now? I run FTX Global and Orbx LC products with the non-FTX branded mesh and it seems to work just fine, unless there are issues that I'm just not noticing... Kevin S
