No they didn't. Besides, look at the thread which is updated with the newest information regarding the conversion process:

How annoying! Why update a post with new information but include an old date in the title. Very misleading to new forum members. Perhaps if they want to remain consistent and keep everyone updated properly, they should have made a dedicated sticky topic for each product rather than mashing info together into multiple topics. Just my opinion.

Where did they include an old date in the title?!

It says [23JUN17]. One would assume therefor that its old information, and any topic posted after that time would supersede the old topic. This is why I suggest that product updates should be put into stickies for each product, then there is only one place to look for the latest info.

Instead there is that topic, the on labeled [04JUL17], not to mention the many user posts about it!

All I am saying is putting [23JUN17] on a topic, and then making another one with [04JUL17] which contains info about the NGX in it, is a little misleading. It could be done better.

That is true - but if you read the post, you'd quickly find out, that it's sole purpose is to be updated dynamically, when they have new information with regards to the Prepar3D V4 process...

I can see your point regarding the date - but on the other hand, the title also contains Most current information... So, personally I don't really think it's a big deal...

Oh its no big deal, and yes you're right it does read that way once you understand the point in the topic is to be updated. Just a bit confusing if you're new :-)

I shudder every time PMDG tries to be forthcoming with their estimated release dates.... it never satisfies anyone.  The simple truth is that it will be done when it is done.  The aircraft and installers are still work in progress.  We are testing, braking and fixing stuff.  Let it go.

You mean to tell me it's not ready yet? How dare they... don't they know we can't sim without it?

In all seriousness is there no patience anymore?

Shoot. They didn't even give a release date. Robert just said there would be more info coming after the holiday.

My turn to jump in and say "Patience."  No, the developers are not sitting on their hands.  As Dan said, we continue to test and work is ongoing.

Every time someone asks "when will it be released???" they have to update the It's been __ days since someone asked about release board back to zero... Nice job

Keep the blue part on top...

For the gearheads: Ryzen 9800x3D | ASUS Rog Strix B650E-F | MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X | 64GB DDR5 6000Mhz RAM | NZXT Kraken x72 Cooler | EVGA 1000 PSU

This is why they normally don't release any dates.  All they did was give in to the masses and let them know potential time frame for release, but it tends to open up cans of worms from many over anxious posters.

Technically, there was never any indication as to a time frame after the holiday. Could be a day after the holiday, could be two days after, could be two weeks after.
