When this gets released I want to bet how much time it will take for the following posts to take place!

"Version 4.1 stutters"
"Version 4.1 lower FPS than 4.0"

and explaining why 4.0 was so much better ,smoother, better FPS , did not crash lol

Get this every time a new update occurs!

This is why I am waiting for 4.1 to re-install P3D with all the addons. Doing a client update   works most of the time, but occasionally( the more add-ons you have the more likely) you could introduce issues such as CTD's . Best to do a full install and then install add-ons.

The only add-on that probably needs an update that I have is AS4. Usually update is available in a few days after the release. PTA should work without an update too.

4K? it cost almost £10,000 GPB here in the UK, the reason why I haven't done it yet!, same prices in Euros all over Europe.

Perhaps I shall go to USA and do there.

Not true, there are cheaper options, first up, you could get a glider FAI license in the UK for well under a grand and that would only take you a week, flying gliders is more fun anyway and will make you a good pilot. Or, you could get a microlight licence in something like an Icarus or Eurostar three-axis aircraft for less than four grand all in, and you can build hours on either to go for further licenses. Here ya go, I'm sure you can scrape this together if you really wanna do it...

In under a week? Perhaps if you already have power license. If I remember correctly I think you get your FAI license in conjunction with the Bronze Badge which again if I remember correctly requires a solo flight? I cant see any but the very exceptional going from Ab Initio to Solo in one week. It usually takes about 40 instructional flights. Have heard of it being done in 25 by naturals. However you are right gliding is far less expensive, more fun, often way faster, more nuanced and way sexier than powered flight. I can heartily recommend it over Flight Sim and if flight sim is in your budget so is soaring.

Nah, you get the FAI glider licence when you get the first BGA badge, the one with the single seagull on it, which you get for doing a solo flight, or at least did when I got it. I reckon most flight simmers would be able to do it in a week if they read up on stuff to do with gliders prior to that week, since they already have a good understanding of instruments, controls etc, and that would probably only cost maybe 700 quid for a residential week long course with you taking the solo on the last day providing the instructor and the check pilot were happy with your flying.

question: why would LM focus such resources on VR and AR when only a small percentage of academic and professional licenses would actually buy the hardware to use?  As if our wives didn't laugh at us enough, now where expected to sit at our desks with some silly thing on our heads holding some plastic business in our hands?  Come on please, focus on real needs like updates to ATC, airspace, and reoccurring database updates.

Silly thing on our heads? VR is the future of flight sims.

maybe yours but not mine.  VR peachy until you actually try use keyboards and mice.  It'll be many years until the average person will can afford what ever solution they have to those problems.  Good luck.
