October 19, 20178 yr All - we don't include the Spotlights installer with the A320-X as Spotlights could be updated separately. We'd then be giving out an old version of Spotlights with the A320-X download, or have to recompile and re-upload the installer to the store every time it changed. This is silly to do for several hundred MBs, so we keep it as a small, free download, available on the forums. Karl Brooker
October 19, 20178 yr Short question: Does anyone else experience app hangs from time to time with the A320?

Once loaded and flying successfully, the sim seems stable and fairly smooth. On another note, one good thing about the 'challenging' performance of this bird is that I've now tweaked my P3D install to the point where I'm getting EIGHT HUNDRED frames per second in VC mode in a default aircraft. Besides sliders, I've used an affinity mask to move the sim off core 1. Seems to help. In the A320, I've also turned down the display refresh rates to 8 Hz, am getting my 45 FPS in VR now, but not stable (drops down into the 20's still, too often for an optimum experience). As I'm still very new to the FSL A320, if anyone else has any tips for improving performance within the addon's settings, that would be appreciated. Under your list of printers you should see a new one... ;) But this is only pertinent when PFPX is installed on the same PC with P3D, isn't it? What if PFPX is installed on a networked pc?
October 19, 20178 yr Is it possible to install FlightSimLabs AOC Uplink printer on a networked PC so that PFXP Print would see it there? Thanks,

It's an accumulation of over five months work, and we're one of the first titles to market for V4 that take advantage of many of the new features that P3D V4 offer. It is also offered for free to our existing customers on P3D v3. Unfortunately the generosity stops at new P3D V3 customers. I think that may cost you some new customers.

Hi scotth6, The v4 version of the A320-X is a different product. We cannot maintain absolute feature-parity between the v3 and v4 versions (mostly due to platform/VAS limitations). It's for this reason they are now treated as a different product line - we offered the free upgrade to existing customers, and also announced 145 days before the release that we'd be pulling the upgrade path to make sure everyone had plenty of time to take advantage of the free upgrade we offered for existing customers. Thanks for the explanation and thanks so much for the 320X. I have a couple of minor issues with it, but the issues are known and I'm sure they'll be ironed out in the near future (CTD when loading direct for example) definitely no show stoppers. Instead of print hit save, go to Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\FSLabs\AOCService\Uplink\ and there should be a folder in there look something like (ipaddress)-NAV1711001 Save in there and it should automatically load the flight plan to the aircraft. October 19, 20178 yr A little tip I tried tonight. I load up v4 and watch my cpu's, core 1 was at 100 a lot of the time. I kicked of core 1-2 (HT ON) ASv4 ACSA, chaseplane etc etc. Result more smoother. David Murden.
