Are we supposed to create those subfolders for the autentisk Cabin announcement? Cant find info about it. Those folders for Airlines does not show up after liverie installation.

Thanks Michael Moe

Yes, you are supposed to create them manually.  Or, if pointed to the right directory, I think when you extract the zip, it would put the folders there correctly too.

Gonna buy it today. Can I assign that NWS key to the joystick via FSUIPC? I never did this before :-)

Aaaaand another question: I want to sign up on the FSLabs Forum and there is a "Who am I?" with Bugs Bunny next to it. But I cannot figure out what to put in there?!?! It always says invalid.

Yes.

Milton, you're referring to me here, as the "usual group of people complaining about how performance sucks for them."

That's pretty insightless. Go back and read my last 1000 posts. I've never complained about poor performance with anything before. If you don't want to read all 1000, just read the dynamic lighting thread from yesterday - I'm one of the few around here that's arguing that there's no serious performance issue with that. Why? Because I have a top-end system that is nicely overclocked, and I'm very happy to compromise on sliders whenever it's needed to get acceptable performance.

All of your comments on the FSL A320 are exceptionally optimistic. I'm giving my honest opinion here, based on my personal testing, I'm not saying it's terrible, lots of people like the addon, obviously. But when compared with PMDG's recent efforts, it doesn't perform as well in terms of frame rates. And it's buggy. In particular, for VR use, it has a show-stopping bug that should not have made it into a release candidate in a $139 addon.

That is pretty cool. You'll have to tell us how you made it.

Now that I'm flying a 'bus, I must say that a joystick feels just right - as opposed to a Boeing, where joystick flying feels a bit odd.

Not you at all, I meant the normal people on their forums who always complain about performance whenever an update is released. I wasn't targeting that at you at all! I'm sorry if it seemed like it did.

As stated on our forum, it's not crashing in our code - it's crashing in P3D code. We'll provide them with a crash dump in an effort to assist them. In the mean time, perhaps you'd like to bring this to their attention on their forum as well. The more people that raise this issue with them, the more chance there is of LM fixing this VR issue in 4.1.

Is anyone having difficulties installing repaints? Just downloaded one or two and this is what I get, all greyed out

http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/image/GHS3

However can install other repaints using the edit aircraft.cfg and add Texture folder.

And when I click on the Refuel Panel and MCDU shortcuts on the desktop it says 'Problem Loading Page'. Any idea what's happening here.

Thanks.

Rick Almeida

I have difficulties to even start P3D with the A320.

I get an App hang after loading to 100% on startup.

The program Prepar3D.exe version 4.1.7.22841 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
