Drzewiecki Design Chicago city + airports announced

Featured Replies

Yes but I have no interest in anything by that group.  The level of quality and cost are light years apart.

KORD is being done by Stanislow (DAVSIM Library rzewiecki Design), read all the comments he responded to below the picture on Facebook...

KSEA is being developed and will be available later for an upgrade cost.

I never used Drzewiecki Design add ons.  I see them on Youtube and they look great.  How is the Seattle scenery?  I have a high end computer, but I was wondering the hit of FSP.  Also is it easy to install?  I am not too computer savvy.  (I love KPAE and KBFI on the Seattle Airports- but was disappointed it did not include KSEA).  IAlso is Seattle scenery and Seattle airports both (separete) a good combination to add?

You shouldn't have any problems, I run it with an I5 6600 K and an AMD R9 390x and it runs pretty good. My sliders are not all the way over to the right but it's enough for me😉.

They just finished MDW, pictures on their FB. Chicago was my hometown for 25 years, something seems a bit off to me with the ground textures and jetways, I'm not feeling it.

What’s off about? Looks good to me. I used to use midway as my hub using the flytampa version.

Everything looks too new, the jetways, ground textures, building colors... it's missing some realism imo. I may be a little picky here, but it is what it is.

Frankly, I agree. Drzewiecki do an excellent job on city scenery, but their airports (with a few notable exceptions, especially EPWA) could stand to improve.

I hate to be harsh here, but FT’s version actually looks better in some ways and it’s what, 10 years old? Maybe older?

I swear this dude only makes scenery that 3 other people are making

Like Warsaw Chopin, Cracow, Katowice, Poznan, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Rzeszow, Lodz, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin, Lublin, Zielona Gora, Olsztyn, Radom, Moscow Sheremetyevo, Chisinau, Baku, Tallinn, Warsaw CIty and Moscow city for instance.

Ironically of all places another developer has now also done Olsztyn, although I believe DD did it first by a significant margin. Obviously, your argument is invalid. 😋

James

DD airports may not be the best, but they’re a huge step up. Outside of Flightbeam, FlyTampa, and FSDT, they’re as good as any. The thing they seem to be lacking is a “live in” look. But I’ll take what I can get. No one else will do KPWK. And the FlyTampa KMDW has aged well, but the DD looks at least equal to me.

Hoping KPWK Palwaukee/Chicago Executive is included.

They posted some pictures of it on their Facebook page, so it is indeed.

For those who prefer to avoid FB, pictures are also up on their forum pages.

BTW, I have to agree about KMDW.  It looks too clean and new - a little grunge would help.  The same could probably be said for the shots of Palwaukee (excuse me, Chicago Executive), but I'm just happy to see a reasonable version there at all.  It's way better than the old Aerosoft Cities X version.

That said, still really looking forward to Chicago being completed.

KORD, sounds great.

Will Drzewiecki Design Chicago city + airports support SODE jetways?
