A vote here for MAIW - the Matrix (their global installer) makes the process so easy and it all works great!

My prediction is we are going to see other freeware installers like MAIW's Matrix that are legal (permission obtained from the model, paint and schedule authors).

I would hope so.  The installer is very similar to FTX Central which is also easy to use and keep updated.

I fell for the UTLive pre release scam ( in the sense that we were promised a final product that never materialised, and now never will).

I will NOT be going anywhere near this product until I see it is a confirmed working final release.

According to JF the two products are from different companies and there will be no discounts.

So be warned.

TG Early Acces has very nice models with spinning wheels and turbines. Livery textures 2048. Very easy on the system. Nightlighting looks good and realistic light effects. Sounds are from Turbine Sound Studio’s.

Very professional GUI with multiple tabs and many features.

Can any JFTG user please tell me whether the included flight plans are indeed "realistic and real world"? I'm looking in particuar at the southern African region (i.e. flight plans that include new ICAO codes such as FAOR, FALE and not outdated codes). Thanks in anticipation.

Not even close. Each aircraft does one return leg per day and then repeats itself every day. Think on that how many aircraft large airlines would need to fill their schedule and how many dormant aircraft you would have awaiting their next day's single flight.

which makes bugger all difference as the developer has done a runner again.  I dont know whats worse him , or Chris Bell that takes your downloads links away after a year and wont sell you a product unless you pay for support whether you like it or not

correct, im currently updating UT Live (as the developer has done a runner) with addon schedules for summer 18 flights (im upto 138 so far) and ive assigned over 1000 repaints.  ive nearly finished ive got about 50 addon schedules to go. Once they are done ill upload them.  The developer can hardly then complain someone has done his job for him

They be better off waiting im sure he will rebrand it next year and flog it as Ultimate Traffic Professional or some gash like that and then abandon it again.  He'd have a hat trick then

Why go through the bother when you can get far better (correct fleet size and weekly or even bi-weekly rotations) results using bgl traffic?

Understanding that this is not a UTL thread seems very difficult ...
