I want a PMDG 787 Dreamliner

Featured Replies

I recently bought the QW 787 and yes it is a beauty to look at, but the aircraft systems ( FMS, Autopilot)  have a long way to go before it is on PMDG quality.

When can I load up a PMDG 787 Dreamliner?  I know, I know, PMDG will never tell, but nevertheless I want it now.

Anyone else also want it?

Aren't you being a bit harsh on Qualitywings, I have their 787 in P3D v4x and always look forward to a long haul flight in it. I think they have done a great job with the texturing and systems replication. I'm sure if PMDG had planned a 787 they would have made it known by now, my belief is their  attention is on the 737 MAX.

I do not mean that the QW 787 is bad, I like it a lot and find it nice to fly, but I want a PMDG 787 Dreamliner. If my wish will come true, I really do not know.

I've mentioned before that PMDG has a very good relationship with Boeing.  After the NG3, I would not be surprised if they go with the 787 and later update the 777 to the -8 and -9.  PMDG is all about quality, so this would not happen fast.  But it's always worth the wait.  I would definitely love to see the 787.  I have a fixed rotation with the 737/747/777, and it never gets old.

It will also be almost twice the price of the QW variant.  I'm honestly content with what QW gave us as they are actively fixing flaws and adding features.  If they decide they are done developing it I'll re-evaluate if I think buying another one from a different developer is worth it, but the way things are going now, I think I'll be quite content.

QW 787 is a real resource hog.  My GPU temps skyrocket

I'd buy a PMDG version whatever the cost

:)

Kidding aside, if PMDG made one, I'd buy.

I want a Falcon 50. I'll take a Ferrari F50, too.

Please deliver to KIAD or KHEF (ideally the latter).

In all seriousness, this literally sounded like “I want a 787 bring it now”. Kinda not the way to title a forum and put in the post “I want it now”. Maybe rephrasing it to “any thoughts of PMDG 787 development” and maybe just put “I would love to see PMDG make a 787” instead of “I want a 787 and want it now” 😂 Remember. PMDG is a busy company with a B748 that is very close now. How does PMDG come out with the best flight sim addons? Time. Good comes to those who wait.
