January 9, 20197 yr Surprised not to see a post about it. They've announced it yesterday on their FB page, it looks awesome too. Didn't see anything on their website yet so you'll have to check their FB for screenshots. Looks like they're close to release too. Edited January 9, 20197 yr by Drumcode Jacek G. January 9, 20197 yr I'm sure it will probably be up to the usual FB standards, which is excellent. I'll probably pass on this one though, I just don't do much flying in Ecuador. Scott
January 9, 20197 yr Author I think it's a nice stop in South America, being there personally once and chatting with some Lufthansa pilots at SEQM, apparently the approaches in the area could be very challenging, plus it could be a nice starting point to fly around the Amazon, which I've personally never done in FSX or P3D. January 9, 20197 yr Wonderful news. More good destinations in South America are desperately needed. I love flying there since ORBX released South America, but there is only a handful of good airports available. I hope that Africa will be next, once ORBX has released that continent. January 9, 20197 yr At least it`s an airport no other developer has done. Edited January 9, 20197 yr by rjfry Raymond Fry.

The airport has some challenging and interesting approaches and is an important cargo hub for South America, along with some passenger routes to North, Central and South American hubs. MSFS 2024. January 9, 20197 yr Excellent. I was there a short time ago. Nice to see SA airports being developed. Mark
January 9, 20197 yr It's a challenging one, for sure. Towering 15000' cumulogranite clouds all around, and high elevation (7900' MSL) make getting in and out of there a nontrivial affair. I do hope the dev is going to model the significant runway slope (~1%). January 9, 20197 yr Interesting airport and really new, as it was build only three or four years ago, as I remember. They closed down the old and dangerous SEQU which was located inside the city of Quito. January 9, 20197 yr Great location, wish more developers would take-up the slack in other countries especially since they are more FPS friendly and just as beautiful. It's usually the countries I've never lived in or visited real world that I want to visit the most in the simulated world. Cheers, Rob.
January 9, 20197 yr I'm waiting for A A Sceneries to do VBTS Suvarnabhumi for V4 stunning airport, it`s being worked on. Again a part of the world that would make a good stop over for long haul to Hong Kong. Edited January 9, 20197 yr by rjfry Raymond Fry.
January 9, 20197 yr Are you sure? Actually he has been very busy for years now with his Beijing scenery and I saw no statement that he is even thinking about VTBS for v4?! Georgian Virtual Airports (UGMS Mestia / UGGT Telavi / UGAM Ambrolauri)
