April 10, 20206 yr Shack95, I still don't get how you find those places. A screenshot like Near Lexington could be nearly anywhere in the world, ie.Europe, Canada, Eastern Europe, so how do you even know where to start looking? And also the Madagscar shot, I assumed it was from Australia or India or something like that. I'm VERY impressed of what you're doing and it's so nice to have names on them. I have already found new destinations to try when the sim is out, thanks to you being able to point out where it is. So a big THANK YOU again. Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. Sometimes the file names give a hint at where they were taken. Evidently the PR team doesn’t rename them when they put them on the site. Edited April 10, 20206 yr by Tuskin38

The Madagascar screenshot had the location in its file name (my initial guess was India as well). For the Nebraska location I just had to scan 2-3 rivers in the Great Plains and that was it. I quite enjoy looking for these locations (as long as they're not too difficult to find) and I came across some spectacularly beautiful spots I hadn’t known before. With every search I learn something new. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

April 10, 20206 yr Yeah I can definately see that too. I just did some scenic flying in Angola. And that was "only" with ORBX OpenLC Africa and a decent mesh. That already blew me away, how the vegetation changed so drastically. Dry at the coast, then suddenly rainforrest on the seaside of the first mountains away from the coast, then savannah, and then the northernmost parts of the Namib desert. With Azure doing its magic in MFS it should be a hot ticket to visit.
