Site errors/Unable to make replies

Recommended Posts

I am seeing a lot of 500 and 504 errors, and finding myself unable to type replies. Any ideas what's going on?

Severe website issues Jon. Brian has managed to get the main site running again and is in the process of restoring the Library from the most recent backup. No ETA on when that will be completed.

Had the 500 and 504 errors for a few days now.  Website seems to be as fast and reliable as usual since a few minutes 👍

Something odd, still working here,

I was able to access the forum this afternoon on my ipad but not on the w10 desktop,  however after a reboot there wasn't a problem, it may be worth trying.

Bill wrote that the library restore isn't completed yet, maybe that's the reason.

No, I got an error not too long ago!  We are all going to have to give Brian a chance to do his thing.  Like Jim said, "No time estimate yet".

We are going back to a site backup as it appears a recent site update didn't go as planned.  Should be fixed by morning (EST). Apologize for the inconvenience.

Not quite. 10:48 CDT. Just got this error:

An error occurred (500 Error)

We're sorry, but a temporary technical error has occurred which means we cannot display this site right now.

I'm just glad it wasn't on my end.  I've been thinking it was, for the past couple of days.
