January 4, 20206 yr Hi! I recently downloaded a few add ons from mega and later realized that those where pirated copies of payware add ons. I’m only fourteen so at that moment I didn’t understand the consequences of downloading those softwares but now I understand what I did was wrong. I am ashamed of what I did and I’m wondering if anyone know what I should do Ex. deleting the downloaded copies.
January 4, 20206 yr Administrators My recommendation would be to delete it at once! You never know what other "garbage" came with those downloads. A good possibility of malware. You may also wish to download "CCleaner" to clean up your computer's registry, and an anti-virus program such as Bob suggested above. I wish all fourteen year olds were as honest as you are. Fr. January 4, 20206 yr @Wilhelm Prytz The best thing you can do is delete those downloads and check if your pc is infected by malware or another threat. Use Ccleaner and do a cleanup then look for problems in the registry. When you have finished, run the PC in safe mode with internet connection and download the Adware cleaner and Rkill applications, and run an analysis with each one. When you buy software...it is an investment into the FUTURE of that software continuing in features and development.
