March 4, 20206 yr Kind of excited to go to Europe this Thursday. Just hope there's no problems with Coronavirus and quarantines....but I think not. Flying Lufthansa to Frankfort on 747-800, then right on to Prague for 3 days ( Airbus 320) Then busing to Krakow for 3 days, then busing to Budapest, Hungary for 3 days. Then flying to Munich from Budapest (Airbus 320). From there take an Airbus 350 (FIRST TIME EVER!) back to Newark, New Jersey. In the last few years, my wife and I have gone to Warsaw, Gdansk, Bulgaria, Romania, Berlin, and Octoberfest last September in Munich. I just love Europe and the people there. Very friendly, great food, easy communication. Have you flown on the Airbus 350? What do you think of that aircraft. Just curious. Just thought I'd share this with my fellow forum members. Stan
March 4, 20206 yr Sounds like a fun trip. I'll be curious on your thoughts of the Airbus 350. Stay safe! Cheers Martin
March 4, 20206 yr Have a good time! Didn't Prague have some catastrophic flooding a while back? I hope it has recovered. I have been to Jena in Germany, and a few other places (Erfurt etc.), but have never been to Prague or Budapest and down that way. March 4, 20206 yr Hope your trip goes really well, and without incident... But perhaps you should still pack two N95 masks for good measure?

On a trip to Europe a while ago I had the chance to fly the A350 and B787 back to back on Qatar Airways. A380 BKK-DOH, A350 DOH-ZRH and ZRH -DOH, B787 DOH-BKK. The A350 won hands down, the A380 came second, my verdict on the B787 was maybe slightly influenced by a non-working IFE. But for sure A380 and A350 are much more quiet. March 4, 20206 yr Stan, be good informed about the Corona virus which is spreading rapidly over Europe ... March 4, 20206 yr Enjoy your trip. I wouldn't worry so much about that Coronavirus, you know what was scary? Polio was scary, this one is more like the flu, not like you will end up in an iron lung Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
March 4, 20206 yr Hope you have a great trip, but just be advised that you might not be able to visit everything you might have planned on your itinerary. Just think of the disappointment those travellers must have felt when they got in line for the Louvre ony to find it closed... At least the 350 is currently a more adequate size for the transatlantic flight than the 380 😉 Stay safe Mallard

We have it here too and it is much more dangerous than a flue. Get informed before stating nonsense... March 4, 20206 yr I've flown A220 on Swissair and B787 on British Airways recently. Both feel very new and comfy. Cheers,
