SimToolkitPro: Not just an EFB! - Better than ProjectFly

Featured Replies

Hi!

I would like to inform a tool than I am using a few months and I am loving. This is SimToolKitPro an EFB with a lot of funcionality and FREE.

See below First Look and what the new version v0.6 bring to us.

First Look:

SimToolKitPro v0.5.61

IMHO I consider better than ProjectFly.

I don't want to get too much into a comparison or ripping ProjectFly, since I felt that was decent for what it did.  I find SimToolKitPro way more useful though, and I only have used it for a few flights so far so I am just scratching the surface of the features.  I have both a Navigraph subscription and ActiveSky, and so for me I really like the integration with those two applications.  I can't believe this tool is free, but I am not complaining. 🙂

An very useful app and improving all the time!
Really like the features so far: intergration of SimBrief flight planning, airport info, Navigraph maps (if have subscription) and ActiveSky weather, all makes this more than a logbook.

Best of all it's free, but please consider donating.

Can this replace Aivlasoft EFB and PFPX? I am really loving the clean and modern UI of SimToolKitPro!

Is very promising but still has a fair few bugs. I noticed that routes crossing the pacific render incorrectly, and I’m no longer able to add any new aircraft as the tool kits blanks out after selecting the scan P3D option. Apart from that it’s been very good for me. I especially like the VATSIM active FIR overlays on the map, as well as the weather.

Yes, Navigraph support it already, but you need to manually select the correct path.

Looks fantastic.  I'm a long time PF user but this has layers and layers of added functionality.  Will be interesting to see what V4 brings

It has a projectfly import tab somewhere in the settings.

You have to request your flight data from Projectfly first.  You need to request it via the support ticket system.  I think they send you a csv file which you then drop into a folder of your choice and then import that to Simtoolkitpro

You can use STKP with navigraph charts and simbrief integrated. Just try and you will see a lot of functionalities.
