June 15, 20205 yr Does anyone know if there are any freeware, or reasonably priced inflight moving map type apps that would work with P3D, that are similar to these real world commercial products used by airlines: Rockwell Collins Airshow Betria Interactive FlightPath3D Honeywell Jetmap Panasonic iXlor2 These are the types of moving maps displayed on your passenger screen on long haul aircraft. I'm not after the moving map type that LittleNavMaps or other similar programs present, where the map remains at a set zoom level and just slowly follows the path of your flight. The InFlight map systems of the commercial products above, dynamically change the map zoom level, switch to some info screens about your journey etc. Regards David

June 16, 20205 yr Might not be exactly what you’re looking for but Project Fly you can follow your flight path on radar and also see altitude, heading etc. As I said not exactly what you’re after but worth a look as it’s freeware 🙂 MSFS 2024

June 16, 20205 yr The only app I'm aware of that does the IFE flight data is this:https://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=138106&Name=&FileName=&Author=&CatID=root However, it was very basic and it doesn't really work in P3D. I'd suggest SimToolkitPro for the moving map and flight data. It's a fantastic app, even if the flight data is not presented in the way that you wanted. June 17, 20205 yr You might want to take a look at FSWidgets IGMapHD. It's an iPad or Windows app that will show your aircraft moving over various maps including satellite imagery. It's not as detailed as the Honeywell product but I bet it's a lot cheaper. Tom

If you could really understand, what you read, you might find out that EFB has every feature that in flight displays in airliners have plus much more, that a real pilot could utilize. But, that is probably asking for too much. 😁
