July 30, 20205 yr Guys I turned this on and v5 would not start, turned it off again and it started as normal. Is this because I did not delete my config first? Does it work with a 1070? Or any other reason you can think of why it does not work/load? Lastly will it make any reasonably difference in the way v5 runs? Thank you. Edited July 30, 20205 yr by Nyxx David Murden. After installing the new driver delete your prepar3d.cfg and your shaders folder at appdata/local and start p3d. dont touch anything on the nvidia profile or nvidia inspector yet. lets start from there. If you can share your pc specs and the screenshot of your graphic settings it would be really helpful Ramon De Valencia AMD 9950X3D / 64GB DDR5 6000MHz / RTX 5090 / 1200 watt PSU MSFS 2020 and 2024

There should not be any decrease in performance moving to the those 450.... drivers. Actually I have experienced more fluidity. what monitor are you using? is it 4k? freesync/gsync? July 30, 20205 yr I noticed this problem with the new drivers too - periods of stutters every so often, but no drop in reported framerate or frame volatility. I traced it to the NVI framerate limiter. The RTSS scanline x/2 in place of the NVI limiter resolved the problem for me, but then created a hooking problem in OBS, so I ultimately just stepped back to the 446 drivers.
