Majestic Dash 8 Q400 v1.021 Update (P3Dv5 Compatibility)

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Just received email that a new version of the amazing Majestic Dash 8 is now available and finally with official v5 compatibility!

I wonder what other improvements they made. I cant seem to find a changelog from the majestic forum..

EDIT: Found the changelog

  • Prepar3D v5 support
  • Weight on wheel detection logic improvements
  • Shared cockpit interface stability fixes
  • Fixed a crash of the FMS caused by certain Navaids
  • Fix, related to the incorrect simulator rate with the new Windows 10 2004 update
  • Dynamic flare, approach and taxi lights

for whatever reason my cockpit displays look all washed out and faded with this update in v5.

No photo description available.

And another problem for me - already discussed by other users in the Majestic forum: The hydraulics values are jumping like crazy. Re-installing as administrator doesn't help. (P3D V5HF2, Win10 2004). Hoping for a quick fix...

I may be lacking some vital information here but this was posted by Kroswynd at 10:25 today.

FSElitr made that announcement based on a vendor that posted this information prematurely. Installers are being uploaded to vendors who should for the most part have them by now. Announcements will be made when appropriate.

I've checked my Just Flight account and it still says 'P3Dv4'

Jeff, if you're reading this, do I sound like someone who cares? 😃

Great. Older version worked real nice, this can only be better. Awesome regional airliner.

I also have it from Just Flight and I was able to install directly to v5 with the installer 🙂 as long as it is the 1_021 version, you should have the v5 option when you run it.

Okay I went to my Just Flight account and the new installer is not there, even though I got an email! Not sure what is going on here.

Never mind, it appeared once I downloaded.

Cheers, Pete

Just Flight downloads say for P3Dv4 but the download is actually 1.021 the V5 version, I've just downloaded it and it works great.
