I want to know if the glass cockpit display will show loading screens for the garmin when starting the aircraft

It was a small immersion killer for me seeing the gps turn on immediately in p3d default a/c

also, let me open all the doors, luggage compartments, glove boxes, windows etc. I have faith that you will

someone give me a wink 😏

As an Alpha Tester I can confirm no, to at least one of those. 😉

Um well I'd look like a brain trauma patient trying to wink code all of that.

How about drool all over myself if it still early prerelease software and not indicative of what the final product will look like.

I'm gonna hazard a guess at the September teaser being fully implemented seasons.

Well, that will be about the time of year we'll start to notice that they're missing. 🤣

I hope the teaser is about VR but more likely some news about Xbox version...

I hope not or doubt it. There would be more people wearing an upturned ice cream bucket as a helmet playing flight simulator then would use VR.

Perhaps you should tell us more about your exotic choice of peripherals. Otherwise I'll just have to dismiss your post as some strange angst about how people choose to enjoy their flight sims. That would be a bit sad coming from an adult.

I'm guessing he meant that only a minority of simmers own a VR, so it won't be worthy of a Teaser on the Roadmap.

It's a feature that made it to their top wish list.

Wondering if the FS community is way behind the times but there's no mistaking the revolutionary experience of flight simulation in VR - it's a tech that's perfectly suited.  Once you try it, you'll never come back.  The sense of flight is enhanced 10 fold.  Really "puts you in the cockpit".  Tons of folks playing IL-2 and DCS are using it.

To go OT a little here.  I've tried VR in DCS and it was very good...I even got a little motion sick at first!  I tried in P3D and it was terrible...too grainy and low fps.  Haven't tried XP11.  I think if we have powerful enough hardware, it would be amazing in this sim.
