Micro Stutters

Without breaking NDA, I'd say this:

Recording video with OBS does not currently alter the performance characteristics of games presently installed on my machine: Threadripper, 32GB RAM, 2080ti.

And I don't get overtaken on the Autobahn when I'm driving around with my Bugatti Chiron 😉

Again, I think you're taking that the opposite of the intention.

Read "Despite my rig" instead, and it will convey what I'm trying to say a little better.

Do all of them have a good payware A350? nope, but XPlane does.

Are you serious? The FF A350 is the only thing in my life that I regret spending money on. I was expecting so much more (development in the future).

No offense (on any of us) just found that statement somehow amusing 😉 Cheers 🙂

I don't know about stutters, but from some of the videos I've seen it looks like there is a very large selection of in-game quality adjustments that can be made. Either way, I think the days of making endless adjustments to the .cfg file is over.

Don't get me wrong, the FF A350 isn't perfect, but at the time it came out it was one of the first flight sim aeroplanes to actually even have a stab at a built-in EFB, this was waaay before PMDG had a stab at in their 747 and waaay before Quality Wings had a go in their 787, and given the fact that there are so many lacking aspects for airliner stuff in Xplane, this made up for things quite a bit (certainly at the time). This, plus the fact that for P3D and FSX, literally your only choice for an A350 is this thing, so you can see that what I'm actually referring to, is not that I think the FF A350 is perfect (and like everyone else who has it, I agree they should have kept on developing it too), but compared to the alternatives...

Well, take a look at the VC of that AFS A350 and tell me again why you think that XPlane one deserves criticism lol.

Ok well I agree. It looked so promising and it is such a shame it stayed like this. I didn't even know what came after... because of performance issues frustration and little time I stopped flight simming shortly after. But I'm planning on coming back now as soon as the new generation of hardware is out.

Maybe it’s true?

The market place is built into the sim, and i suspect the same will be in the XBOX Series X for addons.

PS he is not running 4K at 60fps.

Here's another one, different youtuber.. He says he stopped using OBS to record and is  using ShadowPlay. Looks very smooth .

In ObsidianAnt's video he admits that there are studders and it's in the snapshot as an in progress issue.

seems that you easy bottleneck a 2080ti in 4k , cpu think it not matter much if run 4k you can run AMD or Intel , can change with next gen GPU , summary you need a very good GPU

look at the usage on last video with hwmonitor open, first one i have seen that give some clues what hardware needed , as you see hi is running the 9900k with ht off same as 9700k i should run HT on .

GPU .with this settings gpu usage 96-99% Vram usage 90-95% 10-10.5GB not much left should be fun to see what Rob.A can use on the RTX Titan with 24GB.

System memory usage with this settings is hide, he not showed the tab Asustek computer there you have the system mem usage, he have 32GB nice if he showed that for a  complete pitcure.

I don't know why people ask generic questions and expect actual answers.

The rules were never any different.  Although this is a much more modern and efficient sim, if you load up a full-fat experience (and there is alot of high value visual fat in this sim) then you will probably have stutters at some point if you don't have the hardware to support it - especially if you are running at 4K

Although I hold the Youtubers mentioned above in high regard for their opinions, they are all running MFS on top of the range PC's.  So naturally they won't necessarily have stutters to the same extent that a mid-range PC guy will have.   Also bear in mind that when they say it runs 'very well' or has 'no stutters', the commentary is made in relative terms to P3D or XP.    In comparison, MFS seems to run relatively well with high levels of details relative to those sims.

The fundamental rules always stay the same.

But I do expect people with 980Ti graphics cards and 8 GB of RAM trying to re-create streamer videos above with similar extreme levels of detail and then crying about stutters.  That's coming -  because people are just.....people
